My Review for University of Rajasthan

Overall Rating
Considering that fact that this university is regarded as one of the most prestigious institutions of the state, University of Rajasthan offers a vast variety of options to explore upon for students like me. University of Rajasthan is indeed an amazing place for you to shine in all areas necessary for your overall development and growth as students. Just ensure you don't get too carried away with the student elections and delegation work, because that can hinder your reputation and performance here!
 

Academics Rating
Talking about the Academics here, University extends its expertise in delivering world-class educators. And talking about my course, teaching Law is not a cakewalk for everyone. Thus, the focus on academics is good and well managed. However the only drawback I find is the nature of the completion of the course, as sometimes we often lag in our prescribed subjects till the last minute or just ham our ways out just before exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The Law faculty basically consists of retired or practicing lawyers and Judges mostly. All influential and learned people have been recruited for our lectures and most importantly the guest lectures. Teachers do entertain doubts and encourage debates provided no one goes beyond the desired limits. Professors are mostly punctual and disciple-loving here. No type of nuisance is tolerated by the faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
The college fails to assist students in placements as there is no placement cell. Thus, the students have to figure their way out in bagging internships and jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
There are Hostels available for both girls and boys respectively outside the main campus. These hostels have been bifurcated into divisional categories based on the castes or other preferences. Though I am not a hosteler but many of my friends have availed of this service.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is vast and spread across acres of land. There are dedicated buildings and areas assigned for each discipline. The Law belt has a specific examination building and lecture hall. All students can enter the campus with a valid ID proof only. Moreover, the connectivity of the campus is by far great. Located in the heart of the capital city the campus experiences an influx of students from all across Rajasthan.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is all decked up with regularly lined up fests, mooting competitions and guest lectures. Most of these events and cultural nights are organized by the student bodies. If you gel up well with your seniors and the members of the councils, then you can also stand a chance of volunteering and actively participating in the events.

    This is the number one University of Rajasthan. Its geographical condition is good but it just needs some improvement in its building structure.     I'm pursuing B.Com in commerce college which comes under Rajasthan University. I chose this university because I'm pursuing a professional degree along with it and it offers an option for distance education.   • UNIRAJ Jaipur Cost-Effective Fee Structure
     

    Overall Rating
    University life is average. The placement opportunities are less here but it gives good knowledge about subjects. Students are mostly from Jaipur so less diversity of students. Guards and CCTV cameras are there for security purpose. I will suggest this university if you want to pursue graduation degrees and not professional degrees.     My experience in University of Rajasthan is quite decent, however did had few backlashes in terms of quality education. The courses which I took included accounting, finance and business studies related subjects, which were taught by knowledgeable facilities, even though they may not cooperate, at times.
