For admission to Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, you have to appear in JEE Main exams and score a decent percentile or you have to score very good marks in 12th boards. Then you have to appear for Jaypee counseling in the campus itself and in the end, it will allot you a seat. I'm a third year student now. I’ve completed 2 years at this institute and my experience with Jaypee is quite good. People here are very nice. You have to maintain a good CGPA for sitting into placements here.

This institute provides many courses like B.Tech, BBA, MBA, and BCA and may be B.Sc. It is known for its B.Tech degree. It also provides B.Tech + M.Tech as a 5-year integrated course. There are various branches in B.Tech such as CSE, ECE, IT, and Biotechnology. This year, some new specializations in ECE are introduced (2024).

Faculties are well qualified with good experience. Maximum are PhD holders. Teaching style of some teachers is very good. They will help you whenever needed. They are really strict regarding the attendance criteria. Otherwise, they are supportive to the students.

Placement in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology is good. I'll not say it’s the best but still it is better than other institutes in Noida Around 150 companies visit our institute during the time of placement. There are around 800 students in a batch (now this number is increased to 1500) in which only 100 of students are placed for more than 13 LPA. If you are decent student with good CGPA (7.5+) then you can get 10+ LPA and if you have a very less CGPA, then it will be very difficult for you to be placed even for 5 LPA.

Yes, the institute provides hostel facilities. Some of the facilities there are in great need of attention. It would be better if institute renovates the infrastructure of the hostels. Having 2 campuses at different locations, both of them have their own strengths and weaknesses. From my point of view, hostels of Sector 128 are in better condition than the hostels of Sector 62. Boy’s hostel is of 20 floors.

Jaypee Noida has 2 campuses: one at sector 62 Oland and at sector 128. Both the campuses are equipped with all the necessities for better education. In addition to that, all the courses have their separate blocks. Campus size is very small but the management has utilized the campus. It would be better if it provides sports facilities in some kind of sports complex or arena.

You will find ways to enjoy your lives here. The institute has so much diversity. Students come here from different states of India like UP, MP, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and other parts. Various clubs and societies are present for overall development of students like Coding Clubs, Dance Club, Debating Society, Robotics Club, IEEE, NSS and much more. Two fests are organized every year. Fest of Sector 62 campus is called ‘Impressions’, which is organized in the month of March. Other at Sector 128 campus and is known as ‘Converge’ which is also organized in the month of March only. In addition, various other events are organized throughout the year.
