The primary mode of entry one can gain by clearing the annual BITSAT entrance exam. The major disciplines for undergraduates include Bachelor of Engineering, Masters in Science and Bachelors in Pharmacy. Each faculty division comprises of an HOD, Associate and Assistant Professors and Research Scholars, effectively running the academic programs for the students as well as individually thriving in their respective research fields.

The Placement unit is indeed a hardworking and driven body of students and administration, who strive to connect the talented students with institutions that recognize the student's hard work and align with their work of interest. Sectors such as IT and ET are popular routes among the graduating students, and the trend of Quant trading; Finance and Consulting in the past few placement rounds have seen amazing responses.

There are 12 boy’s hostels spanned across the campus, each housing approximately 400+ students across all years and disciplines and inclusive of various amenities like hygienic washrooms, basketball courts, common rooms with a TV, AC, and Table Tennis, Vending machines, etc. There are separate hostels for girls and for higher degree students, all well equipped with CCTV cameras and security guards.

Due to being approximately 4 hours away from the nearest major city, the infrastructure might appear out-dated at first, but there is no lack of student specific amenities on campus. Adequate water and food supply, well-planned drainage systems, newly renovated academic buildings equipped with AC, lecture-halls, tele presence rooms and incubation centers are spanned out across the campus. Other infrastructural marvels on campus include the picturesque clock tower, Rotunda, Connaught Place, South Park, Sky-Lawns, etc. The Student Activity Centre houses badminton, chess, carom, gym etc. whilst the Gym-G grounds opens the gates for Football, Cricket, Skating, Basketball, Tennis, etc.

Campus Life is excellent here. Apart from the busy academic endeavors, the students can engage themselves in a variety of activities. The year observes 3 major fests, encouraging participation in the form of competitions, shows, and student-run committees. ‘Oasis’ being Asia's largest student-run cultural fest, APOGEE being a technical fest and BOSM inviting institutes from all over the country for competing in various sports. The concerts and comedy shows, the various stalls, student run clubs, departments and tech-teams alongside everyday campus activities such as the numerous reds, late- night eateries and jamming sessions at Rotunda with your hostel-mates are sure to give you life memory in the campus.
