DTU Delhi Admission: Process, Criteria, Process, and Tips

Delhi Technological University (DTU), one of the India's premier engineering Institutions, offers a vibrant campus life with a perfect balance of academics, innovations, and extracurricular. I have chosen Electronics and communication engineering after analyzing upcoming boom in hardware and electronics industry in India but my first choice was computer science. I didn't get that because of high cut-off. You need 60% in board exam and qualify the cut-off of the course as per your category, there are 85% seats reserved for Delhi student's and rest are for outside students based outside Delhi. I'm a student from outside Delhi. You need to give JEE mains exam and then fill JAC counseling after it if you get shortlisted you need to visit University for document verification and grab your admission letter.

1st year fee is 2.36 lakh, 2nd year fees is 2.46 lakh, 3rd year fee is 2.66 lakh and 4th year fees is 2.86 lakh.

Faculty members teaching us are highly qualified, but the point that they will teach good totally depends on their nature and mood. Some teachers just get a Microsoft PPT and read all the information, and explain everything point by point. Later they send you the PPT so that you can use it for reference. There are also some teachers in DTU who teach in a very practical way like we have very nice programming fundamental practical teacher.

Infrastructure in our University is mix of good and bad both. Infra of new buildings are just crazy good with high tech technology, air conditioned room while some are very old and just maintain to get work done. But overall some things do need renovation. The hostels for first semester need completely transformation.

Overall I have good campus life. It is up to you to have better University life if you find right set of people you will love the University. The University crowd in mostly good. Coming to clubs, there are many of them and it is the best part about this University you will find clubs for every niche connected with both soft skills and hard skills.
