Growing Everyday at VSSUT Burla

Overall Rating
It is the first government engineering college of Odisha. It provides the better campus, education and also various other activities. It has best-experienced faculties in various departments. Overall, it is a good college. The teaching style of professors is really good. I chose this college only because of its placement records and exposure. It's been months of joining this college and the experience that I had made is really amazing.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing my B.Tech at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering department. The main documents required are JEE Main rank card and other personal verification like Aadhaar, bank passbook, passport size photo, etc. The admission process occurs at different date according to the branch and this admission process is so good. There are mid semester, end semester occurs at 3 months time interval, and also class tests occur frequently. For real life development, the academic helps a lot.
The admission fee is approximately Rs. 30,000. There are several scholarships available in our college like e-medhabruti and the amount of this scholarship is approximately Rs. 20,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very understanding and their teachings style is so good. The background of faculties is excellent. The faculties are friendly with students. Their problem solving capacity is outstanding. They also help students in personal life problems. The teacher-student ratio of college is approximately good. My experience and bonding with faculties are so good and they help a lot me until now.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in our college campus. It helps the students to find job. The average package of our college is 16 LPA and the highest package is 44.80 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is so good than other colleges of Odisha. The hostel fee is approximately Rs. 14,000. The quality and hygiene of mess food is good. My personal experience at hostel is good. Yes, the girl’s and boy’s hostels are separated. There are approximately 1300 students in the boy’s hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are approximately 40-50 classrooms and 4 blocks. The locality of campus is good. Every classroom has 1 white board and a smart board. Seating capacity of each classroom is approximately 78. The labs are well maintained. There is a auditorium in our campus in which several programs are held like induction program, etc. There is library in our campus and is well maintained. The medical facilities are so good. My favorite spot is library.
 

Campus Rating
The college campus is vast. There are so many clubs for sports like cricket, badminton, football, volleyball, hockey, kabaddi, etc. For curricular activities, there are singing and dancing clubs as well. The college crowd is average. There are annual events such as Basant fest and sports event named Illumina. Extracurricular activities like sports competition between hostels occurs every year.

    In terms of money it's awesome. Faculties are doing well. Campus life will be memorable. Many view points are also nearby. Mess food is better. You have to adjust yourself according to routine. In terms of placements, core branch have better opportunity than CSE. Many food stalls are also available along the college sides.
