LPU Jalandhar Placements and Career Opportunities

In my opinion, it has been my great privilege to study at Lovely Professional University. the university boasts a very active student life, superior physical facilities, and an outstanding student population body, which provides the right atmosphere for the intellectual as well as personal development for students. The reason I opted this university was because it is known for its quality education, its focus on industry relevance. The university offers sufficient open places, internships, live projects, and placements for the students. The key differentiators of LPU are it focuses more on innovation and international tie-ups make our students compete globally.

The eligibility includes passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Students also need to appear in LPUNEST or direct admission on merit. The exams are mid-term, end-term, and practical terms, practicals, tests, quizzes, and projects Field based activities, field visits, and carrying out the research.

The fee structure in Agriculture course at LPU comes up to Rs. 1,20,000 per annum divided into semester fee charges of approximately Rs. 60,000 per semester including tuition fee, admission fee, examination fee, etc.

The faculty members in the stream of B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture carry rich experience. Most of the faculty members are PhD degree holders. They employ power point presentations and writing on black boards, group discussions, and field demonstrations to make sure that what is taught is well explained practically and theoretically. Professors are very friendly and install good problem solving skills capacity in students. In my case, I owe my positive experience to the professors.

LPU has its own placement cell to support students by conducting placement oriented training programs, interview practice sessions, aptitude tests, to make the students placement ready.

LPU has separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms are in single occupancy, twin sharing, and triple sharing having inbuilt Wi-Fi, bath, and wardrobe.

The university has a 600-acre campus at Phagwara that has big built-up academic blocks with forty to fifty seating capacity air-conditioned classrooms having audio-video aid. Main academic amenities include a large library, teaching laboratories, seminar rooms, tutorial rooms, fully equipped halls, etc. I like the agriculture lab and farms because I am pursuing agriculture the infrastructure also takes care of an integrated scholar’s academic facilities.

I had a dynamic campus life in LPU, adorned with students coming from all across India and even overseas. Various clubs in the university include the Agriculture club, amongst others, in which I participate. Every year, it conducts various extracurricular events such as workshops, seminars, and fest like One India, One world, and NEXUS. Popular festivities also include Diwali, Holi, & Onam and they are embraced whole-heartedly. Overall, I can say student life is best here.
