Overall Rating
National Institute of Technology Patna is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India and it is an autonomous engineering college. Central Government National Institute of Technology Patna has two campuses, one is Patna campus and other is Bhita campus. NIT Patna provides B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D, MCA, BCA and many other courses. The NIRF ranking of National Institute Of Technology Patna is improving day by day in 2024.
 

Academics Rating
Academics of National Institute Of Technology Patna is good. In NIT Patna for B.Tech program total 8 semesters occurs in overall four year and in one year two semesters take place. In one semester only two exams are conducted, mid semester exam and end semester exam. The syllabus of college is more industrial relent and National Institute of Technology Patna adopted National education policy of 2020 by which there main focus is on deploying skill of students.
Total fee of four year of B.Tech in National Institute of Technology Patna is approximately 8L to 9 L.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of National Institute Of Technology Patna is well qualified and educated and all most have Ph.D holders from premiere Institute like IIT, NIT or many other good Institutes. Faculties have good knowledge about their field or subject and they do many practical projects for understanding concepts. Most of Faculty members at National Institute Of Technology Patna teach using PPT’s and other on blackboard. Overall student and teacher relationship is good.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of college are improving day by day. The average package of National Institute Of Technology Patna is 13 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel at National Institute Of Technology Patna is good in NIT Patna. There are 2 girls hostel and 6 boys hostel in the premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of National Institute of Technology Patna of Patna University campus in not good as compared to another NIT’s but new campus Bhita has 150 acre campus which will be completely ready in year 2026. The old campus has one common ground for Cricket, football, volleyball, etc. It has one basketball court and many badminton courts. Inside the college there are separate Boys and Girls Gym and 3 canteens.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of NIT Patna is good. The campus of National Institute Of Technology Patna is spread in about 40 acres and hence it is small as compared to other NIT’s. NIT Patna is located on bank of Ganga River where students can go for peace and every Saturday and Sunday student can see Ganga Aarti and enjoy and in college. There are many technical and non technical clubs like ASME, Think India, etc.

    Overall experience in the NIT Patna is very good. I am doing my B.Tech from this institute which have two campus one at Ashok Rajpath road and another at Bihta. Until today only 2nd and 3rd year student of CSE and ECE are studying in Bihta campus, which may change in future. There is no ragging in the institute and mess and hostel are good.     When I came to National Institute of Technology Patna Bihar for physical reporting then I did not feel good because I thought NIT Patna will not be able to give me best campus and Institute life.     I am a first-year student in the CSE department of this renowned Institute. I am giving this honest review through my experience to give proper perspective of institute through my eyes to the new aspirants. The campus is considered one of the smallest among NITs.
