The Insider’s View on MAIT New Delhi

Overall Rating
MAIT New Delhi is well maintained. Faculties are nice placements are decent. Student crowd is helpful and smart. Institute clubs are active and many fun activities occur here. The fee is also very affordable and less than other institutes in Delhi. Overall, it is a decent institute with decent placements but less internship opportunities.
 

Academics Rating
The academic is okayish. I have chosen Computer Science & Engineering because it has good placements and overall nice curriculum. In 1st year, we have to study all subjects. You have to give JEE Main and have to score 55%+ in boards for being eligible for this institute. There are two mid-sems and one end-sem in this institute per semester, which occurs almost every month, but they are easy to study for.
The first year fee is 1.86 Lakh in which Rs. 1,500 registration fee, Rs. 1,000 counseling fee. Yes, scholarships are available for girls and reserved students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are nice. They all are well educated with a Doctorate in their respective subjects. They use whiteboards, PPTs, etc. for teaching, and they share those PPTs with us. The teacher-student ratio is quite good and they do solve our doubts and try to understand our problems. You can easily bond with faculty members and even share your problems and issues with them. So, overall the faculties are nice and they try their best to teach their subject
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 11 blocks in MAIT New Delhi and all are interconnected with each other. Total campus area is small but well maintained. Locality is not that good but it is ok, Classrooms have capacity of 100 students and them ACs. There are 2 auditoriums, 1 main cafeteria, 5 small canteens, 1 sports ground, 1 medical block, and 1 library in our institute. Labs are well maintained with all the equipment.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is decent. There is not much to do outside but institute itself has many events and many active clubs. I am also part of 2 clubs. There is one main fest of our institute and Anugoonj from DU (that is really fun and good). We also celebrated silver jubilee of our institute last year.

    MAIT Delhi is IPU affiliated and self financed institute. Campus life is boring and average. Infrastructure is good for CSE related branches. My mentor told me for first year you only need 40% overall attendance to give end sem exams. Teachers are also decent. We have to do many assignments and file work. Placement culture is also average, mass recruiting companies hire mostly for 4-5 LPA. If you only want to do CSE, you can prefer MAIT Delhi.... Read Full Review

    My experience of MAIT New Delhi is quite good. I chose the institute because it was in my home city. The coding culture academics and college life is good in comparison of other IP affiliated colleges.
