I was not sure if I should go for a PG course because I had gotten a couple of good job offers after my degree course. But a PG course would never be a waste and so I jumped into the decision of taking admission and got selected in NIT. Overall, VNIT Nagpur puts your learning experience on a whole new level. The academics are good, the infrastructure is great; campus, sports and events are of great help to energize yourself. They also arrange guest lectures and different workshops which are of great help if you're inclined towards some creative part of the technology. In my opinion, if you want to choose Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur for yourself, just blindly go for it.

You'll hear positive academic reviews from every student of VNIT Nagpur. The course is updated once in every four or five years and the syllabus is kept up-to-date and in line with today's technology. Every student's progress is checked individually and is encouraged to perform well. There is a final exam but before that the college also conducts internal exams and tests as well. Students are encouraged to focus more on gaining knowledge and how to apply it in the real world. Studying at VNIT has been one of the greatest experiences. The college is the best, academically as well.

The faculties at NIT are extraordinary. All teachers are highly qualified from reputed universities like IIT. All of them are perfect with their subjects while few of them are strict when it comes to student's performance. They manage the syllabus well and make student's ready for the tough semester exams. Let me tell you one thing, the semester exams are hard, you're going to have to study as hard as you can to score a good percentage, otherwise there are always students smarter than you.

The companies in which getting a job is a dream for the students from all over visit VNIT campus for recruitment. And not just a job but one can apply for an internship as well in any company. These internships are paid. The graph of students getting recruited in their dream companies is going up every year. Companies like Deloitte, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, Siemens, Capgemini, Infosys, TATA Motors, Godrej, Reliance, etc. visit NIT campus for placement. Recruiters search for talent in students through interviews and tests. One has to start preparing for placement interviews months before the actual placement.

VNIT Nagpur provides hostel facilities for its students. Hostel facility is available for both, girls and boys. The buildings are obviously separate though. There are seven boys' hostels and four girls' hostels. Nearly more than a thousand students can be accommodated in those hostel buildings combined. Inside the hostel, the facilities include a TV room, spacious rooms for students to stay, indoor and outdoor sports, and all kinds of food varieties (vegetarian and non-vegetarian as well). The rules of both the hostels are quite strict. Keeping low music volume, appropriate behavior in the hostel campus; curfew timings are strict as well. Students are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the hostel campus. There is a selected day of the week where everyone does the 'Safai-Abhiyan' at the hostel. To be honest it's one of the fun activities.

NIT Nagpur has great infrastructure including 24 hours Wi-Fi facility for students. The college has well maintained and equipped classrooms and laboratories. The college campus has a huge playground for students to play different sports. The college takes a lot of interest in sports. It also provides 24*7 medical help for students. The buildings are of modern type and are spacious, huge. The campus also has a library where students can issue books related to the syllabus and can sit there to study as well. The library gets packed during exam time as most of the students prefer studying in the library.

Campus Life is great at any college if you have your friends beside you. You guys chill together, study together, enjoy your college life together and create memories that you all carry for the rest of your life. VNIT makes it even better with its great infrastructure and campus which is covered in greenery. With the big playground students are encouraged to play sports more often. Many annual events are celebrated including tech events and cultural events. These events work as refreshing days for students after long studying days. Different festivals are celebrated in the colleges which are like energy boosters for everyone.
