Overall Rating
Basically I have joined Sathyabama in 2021 and I chose the course, CSE. On first day I had a bad experience because I was only guy from the north so I was sitting alone but later on I got comfortable .and I got few friends who were Telugu. They know Hindi too. Basically there are most of the people from the Andhra or Telangana but every one of them are friendly. The Institute fee is decent. They provide various services like bus and mess, notebooks, calculator, etc. This Institute was different from other institutes in term of size and the amount of faculty, work and discipline.
 

Academics Rating
I chose CSE at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology as for it there are a lot of job opportunities in these fields. Here you can go to multiple companies and showcase your skills and area of learning is also very big. It includes various subjects. The eligibility criteria are that you must have 75% in both 10th and 12th and mainly they conduct their own exams which we have to write. There are 3,000 students in CSE branch itself.
For CSE during my time at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology it was Rs. 2,15,000 but for current 2025 batch it is 4.5 lakh per semester. The facility is increased so much as compared to later registration fees that were Rs.15, 000. There will be defense discount scholarship based on marks you have scored.
 

Faculty Rating
My coordinator at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is Vijay sir, he manages our class. He used to teach us computer network during 3 year. There are lots of different faculties to teach different subjects. There are also different labs staff assigned to conduct lab exam mainly. All the faculty members hold PhD degree and are highly educated. They teach us subject like data structures using c, c++, python, java, etc. The methods used by the teachers are both seminar chalk and board. The digital board depends on the subjects and the topic.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is provided by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. Mainly Sathyabama invites 250 companies for placement drive. There is placement portal in that we need to login and apply for the company. There are placement trainings conducted. They charge 25k. There are companies like TCS and Capgemini, etc. that visit the campus to offer recruitment opportunities to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is hostel facility provided for both boys and girls at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. Yes, there is an ERP portal and every information is transferred through that or WhatsApp. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The mess food is decent and it serves both Vegetarian and Non. Vegetarian food. These are cooked separately.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are total 18 + 2 research centers, library, mess, advanced study block, St. Paul block, admin block, etc. at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. Everything has a separate block in the campus. The campus size is 144 acre in each class 60 student can sit (in every class digital boards are available. There are auditorium and seminar halls present + there are many conference rooms. The canteens are also available. These are also separate for both veg. and non. Veg. Total 2 canteens and for sports areas are there in the premises. Sports like badminton court, etc. are available.
 

Campus Rating
Basically most of the students are from these areas so they speak their regional language so for north people it are hard to get normal. Later you will get familiar but it. There are few cases of discrimination to north Indians but few students are good. There are lots of activities and you can participate in any activity you want. Yes, there are many clubs and I was the part of dronobotics club. Here are cultural fest and technical fest organized by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.
