What Makes Kirori Mal College a Top Choice?

Overall Rating
My College is one of the best colleges of the University of Delhi. KMC - Kirori Mal College has become an important place of my life, as the values and skills which I get there and I learned from there are just out of the box. I have enjoyed my College life with a good boost of learning and studying. I have developed good communication skills and art of analysis here.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing my graduation with Political Science that is BA (Hons.) Political Science. The reason behind my choice is my keen interest in the politics and public policy. Admission process was quite easy under CUET and all things are now digitalized. We have to give exams in every 6 month that is semester system. Mostly people seem humanities as the theory based papers but in reality, humanities subjects especially mine Political Science enhance the overall performance of a person in life.
The fees for my chosen course at Kirori Mal College costs around Rs. 15,000 per year. It may vary for those who have reservations.
 

Faculty Rating
In my department of Political Science, we have a faculty staff of 10 teachers. All of these teachers are highly qualified and have completed their Ph.D. One of our faculties, Prof. Roopinder Oberoi has completed her post doctoral also. The method of teaching is mostly group discussions which help us to develop our ability to critically analyze the topic. Few important points are asked to us to note down in our notebooks for revising afterwards.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Kirori Mal College’s campus has two academic blocks, one for Arts & Commerce and other for Science. The main block is declared as heritage building by the Government of India. Our campus includes two grounds, two canteens, hostel, and seminar room with academic auditorium. The capacity of seating in each classroom is around 50 students. My favorite place as a part of college infrastructure is our department room where we usually sit and discuss the varied topics.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is very enjoyable and especially filled with learning’s for me. I am part of a society of my own department that is La Politique. Currently, I am heading event management and logistic team. Apart from this, I am working with the IQAC being the head of IQAC team of department of Political Science. My experience is best at college campus and I prefer every studious student to be a part of Kirori Mal College.
