OIST: Supportive Educators and Modern Facilities

Overall Rating
While going to institute like shifting gears from school to institute we have many questions. In my life that answer came in the form of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology as leaving school friends wasn't easy. I have found even better friends in the institute. At first I used to think that will engineering be tougher and will take a lot out of me. The answer to that was also answered by OIST that if a proper discipline is followed, there's no way that one will find it difficult.
 

Academics Rating
To tell those who ask about academics of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, there are short classes and more practical and industrial trios and some unwinding moments. If this is balance then trust me, the way OIST has balanced it, its next level. The syllabus is notched up before time and therefore we always have ample time for doubt solving and doing other stuffs that we want.
Fee at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is not very much. It is very much Rs. 63,500 for a year and it's divided into semesters.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology are helpful and are very supportive. My bonding or relation with most of them is such that I have utmost respect for them and at the same time I am scared of them as well.
 

Placement Rating
More than placements cell, I think it's our alumni who have ensured that they make the companies come and hire students from our institute. So the alumni network has grown leap and bounds and so are the placements in last few years.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Renovated a couple of years back and therefore it's as clean as a whistle. The infrastructure of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is such that it can silence many other institutes and universities as even though we aren't that big in terms of area but still every facility is facilitated here. My favorite among the infrastructure would be a tie between the library and the canteen. Library is for peace and canteen is to have some chit-chat with mates after the classes.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology will ensure that a lean phase will never come in the campus life of the student. Firstly every month there's an event happening and there are clubs that invites participation in numbers. Even our faculties back us for the same and therefore a dull moment at OIST is rather unimaginable. The mentality monster will always be in full glory here.

    The campus of college is not such big but it is of average size. The experience in the Institute till now is just ok. We have to hustle for 75% attendance in the college and write many assignments on daily basis. After that all we have is some friends from different corners of India and with them we make fun and do some activities. I chose this college because I have got a tuition fee welfare seat.     Overall this institute is not for someone who has an expectation of all fun and enjoyment in college, you can get good academics and opportunities, but they are really strict with their curriculum and management. This institute is well reputed in our city that is Bhopal and is also well recognised among some major companies.   • Placement Opportunities at OIST Bhopal

    Engineering to me was purely because of my elder brother who finished his engineering and made me feel that this is the only course which has some scopes. I had some doubts and concerns but thanks to Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal as all those vanished in just a month. If one thinks engineering is boring then I would recommend them our institute as we have more fun than studies. So well balanced academics here that one has liberty to do all that he/she wants....
