My Journey at Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi

Overall Rating
Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi is also called IIT BHU. My experience at IIT BHU very is good. This is very good institute for engineering because it is a very famous and prestigious institute in India. I fulfill all my expectation from this Institute. You get exposer to every field from this institute anywhere you want to go in sports in business or in anything you can choose it. If you really want to enjoy a best institute life, academic, many fest and for your bright future you can came in IIT BHU.
 

Academics Rating
Choosing a course is not in our hand it is the based on your IIT Advance score. You can get admission in this institute by giving JEE Advance exam. If you qualified for in JEE Advanced you can get admission in IIT BHU if you are eligible for it. There are two semester in each year and in one semester there is two exams that are midsem and endsem. As a chemical engineer we check whether the water we drink is pure or not, etc.
One semester fees is Rs. 1, 00,000 and one year fee is Rs. 2, 00,000. The hostel fee for one semester is Rs. 200 and whole year it is Rs. 400 and the mess fee for one semester is Rs. 15,000. There are many chances you can get a scholarship in IIT BHU.
 

Faculty Rating
Here in IIT BHU the teachers are very smart and always supportive towards student. And provides best quality education to student and they always make sure that student get rid of their doubts. The teachers teach us on green board and give PPT is also and also in smart board. In IIT BHU there are enough professors for students. Professors are very approachable you can approach and ask for doubt or anything. You can ask your doubts through WhatsApp also.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell in IIT BHU is very active. And helps the student to get there placement and also for internship. They always help us. Invidia, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs and many more big companies approaches IIT BHU. The Average package is 22 LPA and highest is 2.2 Crore per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Residential facilities are available at IIT BHU. Canteens are available in every hostel. The hostels for first and second year are very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Here in IIT BHU campus academic blocks and structure is very organised and designed by experts. IIT BHU is in almost 500 acres. As IIT BHU was part BHU so the infrastructure is old and benches and classroom are traditional. Canteens are available in every hostel. Medical services are very good in IIT BHU.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good in IIT BHU. There is Vishwanath temple in our campus. And there are regular fests organised in my institute like Kashiyatra, Saturnalia, Jagriti, Technex and many more fests. And there is Inter-IIT competition where the IITians compete each other. My experience is very awesome in IIT BHU everyone is nice towards you and you get a tag of IIT also. IIT BHU is an open campus so the people from outside come to our institute and there is a lot of crowd over here.

    IIT BHU is currently ranked 10 in NIRF ranking 2024. The college has very good environment for academics and personal development. So many clubs and societies are there to help a student in his / her extracurricular growth. The college has tech clubs like aero modeling, robotics, coding club, and more.     The overall experience at IIT BHU is like dream fulfilling, had a rigorous curriculum, research opportunities and highly educated faculties for the academics. I really like the sports facilities offered by the institute and joyful & memorable experiences at the festivals.
