VIT Chennai Placements Opportunities with Top Companies

VIT University is probably the best university after top NIT. The overall experience is good and enjoyable except constant exams but several events make up for it. Teaches are with high knowledge but lack in teaching skills. Overall experience is very good with lots of opportunities to explore ourselves and allows enjoying several cultures. This university provides many opportunities for internships and placements because of its strong relationship with several companies.

The course I chose is Computer Science because of my interest in Robotics. I want to explore this field that's why I chose this course here because it has a lot of facilities for Robotics department. I want to explore this field that’s why i choose this course in VIT Chennai because it has lots of laboratories for Robotics. To join VIT an entrance exam called VITEEE will be conducted. Once we clear this exam, if you are satisfied by the results and your allotted course based upon the performance of your exam, the process of admission will take no time. The frequency of exams is as follows: CAT-1 and CAT-2 will be conducted once every 2 months or so and the final exam is FAT.

The fee of my chosen course is around Rs. 2,00,000 per year and remains same during all the 4 years. This includes tuition fee, admission fee, and all other charges.

We have a good set of faculties in VIT Chennai with each having PhD degree. The knowledge they have is so good. It takes time to adapt with the teachers but their experience and knowledge is no less. The student teacher ratio is also very good, as we have get one to one interactive doubt sessions. They are very approachable.

The placements in VIT Chennai are good. It provides great opportunities for us, which includes both internships and placements. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. appear for placements. It has a good relationship with HRs of top companies. The highest package offered in my university is around 1 CPA with an average being around 10 LPA.

Hostels are good but mess food is manageable. We have rooms in double, triple, and quadruple occupancy with an option of AC and non-AC. Girl’s and boys’ hostels are seperate. The hostel has certain rules that we must follow. There are 5 hostels in total.

Infrastructure of VIT Chennai is good compared to several NITs, with 4 academic blocks. It classrooms are properly built with sufficient amount of space and a green board & a white board. The library and seminar halls are very furnished and well maintained. Everything is good here. The overall environment and infrastructure of this university is good with lots of trees.

Overall, my campus life is also very good. I came across people from various places in India. I have also learnt languages and new cultures. The bonding I made with other states friend is so strong. The university is a bit crowded and everyone here is very friendly and non-partial, that includes teachers as well. There are lots of clubs in which you can join and participate in their events such as dance and singing.
