USME New Delhi: Excellent Campus Life & Supportive Faculty

Overall Rating
USME is affiliate to DTU which is well known for its excellent academic facilities. The surrounding areas are comparatively better than other universities. It has experienced and friendly teachers. The placement and infrastructure is also good as students can access a number of facilities at the college. The campus life is fun and provides students various opportunities to showcase their talent.
 

Academics Rating
Students from both Delhi and outside can take admission at the college. BBA is available in 2 branches which are Economics or Data Science. B.A (Hons.) in Economics is a well reputed course and at the college. The admission requirement for this course is qualifying CUET with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The program has duration of 8 semesters or 4 years. Each semester has 2 set of papers in which the mid-semester exam is of 25 marks and the end-semester exam is of 50 marks. The rest of the 25 marks are for attendance, class performance, and practical work.
The fee for various programs differs for each year. For 1st year it's around Rs. 1,10,000 which increases by a small amount for every progressive year. Scholarships are available to students on the basis of merit.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is great in terms of approachability and qualifications. They have taught in various well-known universities before coming to this college. Even the newer faculties have great academic background. We are taught through PPTs, boards, and online materials. We also have practical periods where the class is divided into groups of 3 students to conduct practical for subjects like Data Science or Computer Programming. This period can also be used for resolving doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college has a placement cell with good staff. The college conducts various professional seminars for improving industry knowledge of the students. Even for 1st/ 2nd year students are provided good internship opportunities if they stay connected to relevant societies and groups. Students get placed every year at renowned companies.
 

Hostel Rating
No, there's no hostel facility at University School of Management & Entrepreneurship. The students have to rent PGs or flats available in the area.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very small with only 3 buildings. The college has an indoor Badminton court along with a Volleyball & Basketball court. However, they are not the standard size which should be improved. We have 1 auditorium which has good capacity. There is 1 canteen, 2 labs and a well-stocked library at the college. Students can also get food from the Nescafe present at the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is good even though it can get boring sometimes. The college crowd has students from different places, and there are many talented students. The seniors are welcoming and interactive. There are many actives clubs at the college like NSS, Dance, Music, Retract, Networking, Debate, and MUN. There are a few events but students can also join fests of the main campus which are pretty impressive.

    USME, DTU can be referred as a perfect blend of academics and fun. Everything is intertwined with each other in almost perfect nature.
