USME New Delhi has 150+ Seats for B.A (Hons.)

USME New Delhi is overall great, though there are limited resources because the campus is small and less exposure to extra-curricular activities. It has its own perks and the faculties are well experienced and have taught in Tier-1 DU Colleges. If you're someone who can step outside the University and look for opportunities, then this is a place for you! Opportunities do not come here itself as it is a new campus as compared to other Colleges which have built their legacy over decades.

I am enrolled in the B.A (Hons.) Economics course because I always wanted to learn more about the subject in detail. The admission process here is quite simple and the University considers CUET scores for admission. Here, for B.A (Hons.) Economics, you have to choose Mathematics in CUET exam after 12th Class. The admission process starts with the offline counseling process, no online counseling takes place. There will be multiple rounds of counseling as there are 150+ seats for this course. Here, exams are held twice in every semester i.e. the mid semester and the end semester. The curriculum is strong but sometimes you might just feel you are just mugging everything up which may be a disadvantage sometimes.

The fee structure here is on the higher side as compared to other Universities. The base fee structure here is at least Rs. 1,00,000 for every year. It increases every year by Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 6,000 every year.

The faculty is the only point which may help you bring your mind off that it is such a small campus. The faculties of Economic Department are highly experienced and they have studied in India's prestigious Colleges, so faculty won't disappoint you at all. Most of the faculties have Ph.D in their respective domains and are active publishers. They take regular tutorial sessions, in small groups, to clear doubts or repeat a difficult topic. You can reach out to them any time whenever they're in campus. Most of the faculty teaches through PPTs and do not try to just complete their syllabus, they go according to student's pace.

Honestly, USME New Delhi has a small but sufficient campus. The locality is also good. It is very close to two metro stations (red link, pink line, and blue line) whichever is convenient for you. The library is peaceful and has almost all the resources that your faculty suggests. There is also a seating arrangement adjacent to the library where you can sit and study. They have common rooms where you can relax in your free time with your group. There are 3 computer labs around the University, all functional. For sports, there is an indoor badminton court, a volleyball court, and a table tennis room. Overall the infrastructure is decent for a campus this size.

The University crowd is decent. There might be little student interaction due to small crowd but the campus is in a location where you can visit various places. There are a lot of clubs but only few of them are active, the most active are the debating society and the Economics society. Even the cultural society organises a lot of events over the year. Overall, once you get adjusted here, you'll start to like around.
