Admission at DTU USME New Delhi Course is Based CUET Score

My experience at DTU USME has been great and pretty positive so far, and one of the biggest reasons for that is the faculty. One of the main reasons I chose this University was its reputation under DTU, and also relatively new campus which gives a good balance of infrastructure and opportunities. Compared to other Universities I considered, this University felt more aligned with I wanted: it had good academic exposure as well room to explore other things.

I’m pursuing B.A (Hons.) Economics, which is a great choice if someone wants to understand how the economy works beyond just textbooks. The reason I opted for this course was I wanted a good exposure between theory and practical exposure. The admission process was based on CUET scores. The syllabus is well structured and updated regularly, and most of our professors encourage open discussions and project based learning. There’s a good mix of academics and extracurricular.

The fee of this University is quite reasonable compared to private Universities. For my course, the annual fee is around Rs. 1,00,000/- including tuition and other charges.

The faculty is honestly one of the highlights. Most of them have studied from top Institutions and have years of teaching experience. For example: Our Macro Economics teacher often discusses recent policy changes and budget updates in class. Some professors prefer using presentations while others stick to traditional methods. They are also very approachable, if you have any doubts or want to discuss something beyond class, you can easily meet them after lectures or during their office hours.

The campus of University School of Management & Entrepreneurship is relatively new and it shows in the infrastructure. It’s well planned and modern. The academic blocks are clean and equipped with smart boards and projectors. Classrooms are spacious and the library is great to study, especially during exams. There is a seminar hall, canteen, etc. and enough space to sit and chill between classes. What I personally like is that all rooms are well air conditioned. The Wi-Fi is mostly stable, and there are labs for data and research courses as well.

Campus life is something I enjoy here. There is always something happening as there are a lot of University societies which are very active throughout the year. The crowd is quite diverse and friendly too. I’m part of the Economics society and it’s helped me build a network and explore things outside classroom. Even if you're Introverted, you'll find your space here. It’s a mix of academics and fun, and you can take up leadership roles as well.
