DYPCOE Pune: Admission through MHTCET

My experience in DYPCOE Pune has been great until now. It taught me many things and helped me move towards my goal. Factors like great surrounding and living area as well as faculties of college helped me choose this college. Improvements made during the recent years have been great, which really made this college one of the best in Pune. Cafeteria and Square Garden are two best parts of this college, which makes college more desirable.

Academics have been great. You have to pass MHTCET exam with required cutoff, which changes every year as compared to students. You can also take admission through management quota. After clearing exam, you have to take participation in CAP round, which can help you to take admission in course you like most.

Following is fee structure of college according to different categories. Fee for the general category student is Rs. 1,34,189, for OMS student, it is Rs. 1,64,189, for the students who belong to OBC, EBC, SEBC, & EWS categories, it is Rs. 77,271, and for SC & ST students, it is Rs. 4,189. Furthermore, fee for VJ, NT, SBC, & TFWS students, it is Rs. 30,354, and candidates from J&K have to pay Rs. 28,689. Exam fee, training & placement fee, and uniform charges are not included in the above fee structure; it is around Rs. 10,000 for each year.

In my course, faculties have more than 10 years of experience in their respective fields. Teacher to student ratio is 1:68 in college with each batch having 2 coordinators. Some of the teachers are GATE qualified with decent rank. Support of teacher towards students is great.

Placement cell is there in DYPCOE Pune. Placements have really improved in this college in the recent years. Package for the students of core branches is 20 LPA on average, with one student reaching upto 52 LPA in Microsoft.

Hostel facilities are being developed in the campus. They will be available from 1 July 2025 onwards. Annually, hostel fee is around 2 Lakh with mess charges included.

Infrastructure of DYPCOE Pune is great. It has well-equipped laboratories for all the subjects. PPS lab, Chemistry lab, Mechanics lab, Physics lab, and Graphics lab are few to mention. For every branch, there is separate department. Workshops are also there for first year students to give them practical experience of carpentry and soldering. Apart from this, there are 2 cafeterias in the campus. Food charges in both of them are also not too high; quality could be improved though. There is a smart store for stationary in the campus. Square Garden in college has a statue of Saraswati Maa. There are few other shops in the campus. There is a library in the campus with reading room. Outstation students are not allowed in the library. There is greenery all around the campus. Students spend their free time in the college campus.

Campus life in DYPCOE Pune is brilliant. My experience has been great until now.
