SGGSCC New Delhi: A vibrant Campus with Diverse Experiences

Overall Rating
I started my college journey in August 2024, after a CUET score of 490/650. I got into my dream course from this college. The college is really one of the best in the Delhi University. The courses offered by the college are unique. The infrastructure is best with canteen, a very prestigious Gurudwara in the college lawn, and a huge Auditorium. The college has almost 40 societies to choose from and every other day a society has its events.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in the BMS course because of its professional relevance and because it is called a mini MBA. To get into the course, you have to give CUET exam and give exam of subjects like Maths, General Test, and English. The college in itself conducts a mid sem and an end sem examination and its evaluation process for the overall score is also very harsh. The academics do not prepare us for the real world challenges in that sense but they try to holistically develop us into a better human being.
I paid Rs. 51,770 for the annual fee of the college. The fee structure is very good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty for my course is actually very good. Our teachers are insanely talented and learned. Most of the professor are themselves from DU colleges and understand the struggles of the students very clearly.
 

Placement Rating
Our college's placement cell offers decent packages and companies as if Zomato and PayTm visit our campus to hire students.
 

Hostel Rating
The college only has a girls' hostel. It has about 6 floors and gives home to over 100+ girls. The food at the mess is not up to the mark. Snacks are quite decent. hostel fee is actually Rs. 2,00,000 and the hostel timings are from 6 AM To 7:30 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is quite a lovely environment to spend time. It has a multi-storied auditorium, which can seat almost 800 people; the campus is located in Pitampura. All the classrooms and meeting rooms have centralized ACs. The washrooms are very clean with soap dispensers, the college football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, lawn tennis court, table tennis court, badminton court, and a shooting range. The college also has separate rooms for separate societies.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is quite energetic and full of enthusiasm. The crowd of our college is the best in entire Delhi University. There are over 40+ societies in the college and we have a large number of events organized by these societies every month, our annual fest. Eminence was also a huge success this year. My personal experience of the college life was very surreal and great. College has proved to be good factor in my life and makes me a better person every day.

    SGGSCC New Delhi is affiliated to Delhi University. The infrastructure here is very good as compared to the other colleges. Teachers are also very helpful. The library is really good, as it provides you with good books, that you need for every semester.     I am sharing my experience as a student in this college. Well, when I tell you I have always been satisfied with my choice since the day one, I mean it. I knew about this college even before I was allotted this college through the reviews and other platforms. From societies to campus, I was well aware about all of it.     My overall experience in SGGSCC New Delhi has been excellent. It is known for its focus on Commerce, Economics, and Management courses whilst still offering other Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and BA (Hons.) in Punjabi. It places emphasis on academics and overall growth of a student. The faculty is highly qualified and approachable.     My overall experience at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce till now is pretty good. The overall infrastructure of the college is one of the best in whole DU. All the classrooms are fully AC, benches and buildings are well maintained too, even the washrooms are very clean. Sports facilities in the college are also very nice.     Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce is an undiscovered treasure of the Delhi University Circuit for its rich blend of academia, cultural environment and extracurricular activities. I now know why this college is reputed to be a complete package of development and growth.
