Vibrant Campus Life at SGGSCC New Delhi

Overall Rating
SGGSCC New Delhi was my one of my priority when I was looking for admissions and I was very happy when I made it. The College is very beautiful and nice with good infrastructure. It’s quite a competitive College with good societies and professors. In my opinion, it’s one of the best Colleges of Delhi University and in India for Commerce. It is one of the best off campus Colleges. You can choose it to be your first preference and you won’t regret it.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Com (Hons.) as I used to find it easy, but it was difficult to get this course due to it being high in demand. I got 700 out of 800 and bagged this College (I had quota). You need minimum 750 to get my course in this College and for other courses the marks may vary. The exams are conducted twice a year in the form of semesters.
The fees are quite less. It was around Rs. 20,000/- per year. It’s extremely affordable and you can manage it with your other expenses.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is highly qualified and professional with always proving their potential and giving right guidance. Mostly they teach from their own notes and books which is better method than teaching through PPTs according to me. PPTs are beneficial when reading electives but for core subjects, books should be preferred. Teachers are friendly and will help you at every step. The office staff will also assist you with your problems.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of SGGSCC New Delhi is good. The classrooms are very extremely big with proper air conditioning and benches appropriately managed. It has a canteen with good food at reasonable costs, a proper managed gym with a trainer and necessary equipment. The security is nicely managed, and ID Card is always required entering in the College to maintain a safe and secure environment in College.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very beautiful. The crowd is very friendly and indulging. There are different societies and clubs (around 40) and with each you can learn new things. There are Inter-College sports and academic events which can help in you learn and grow holistically. It also has annual fest where famous celebrities perform and you can have fun. Till now my experience is beyond perfect.

    I started my college journey in August 2024, after a CUET score of 490/650. I got into my dream course from this college. The college is really one of the best in the Delhi University. The courses offered by the college are unique. The infrastructure is best with canteen, a very prestigious Gurudwara in the college lawn, and a huge Auditorium.     SGGSCC New Delhi is affiliated to Delhi University. The infrastructure here is very good as compared to the other colleges. Teachers are also very helpful. The library is really good, as it provides you with good books, that you need for every semester. Course options are limited here because it is a Commerce College, but the staff is very good and I would choose this college over any college.
