So first you can't compare this university to any other government colleges such as NIT or IIT. But if you are not getting government college then you can choose this university. My suggestion is to you if you are getting admission in this university then try to at least get 30% scholarship through CUCET which is not so hard only basic of 11 and 12 class then this university worth you.... I came to know about this university through one of my friends. After giving JEE I started to look for some top private colleges and then I decided to go for Chandigarh University. It's an amazing college with a huge lush green campus and great infrastructure. Chandigarh University situated at Mohali is a good. It is 2nd tier college. If you didn’t get selected in IITs NITs doesn’t matter you can still get a chance to pursue your dreams. Chandigarh University provides excellent curriculum and course along with that they also train you for the placement and there is ample of opportunities there. I took admission in B.E. CSE (Lateral Entry). I find the curriculum to be quite easy. University is very strict in terms of Attendance. They focus very much on theory rather than practical. If you are eager to participate in a lot of competition and curricular activities CU is the place for you.
