Build Future in TINT Kolkata: Good Education & Educators

Overall Rating
Overall facilities and everything here are quite established and it's not like a traditional campus where you come, attend the classes and leave. New age learning happens here and therefore good exposure, industrial visits and most importantly industrial projects are given to us. Placement drives happen till everyone get a fair shot. So, college may be little new or little far from main town, but will help you secure your future.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here are a bit challenging definitely. Lab classes were on every odd days and regular classes were of 6 hours daily. So, my day at college was always surrounded by academics. Library is good for research work; which we were given almost every semester. Lastly, our modern and best of the best classrooms enriched our academics more than ever.
When I joined, fee was 1.8 Lakh in first year, and then it kept on increasing by some bits.
 

Faculty Rating
Some of our facilities have worked in the IT companies of New Town and so we are taught by well- experienced educators. I wish they were little less strict so we students could share a better bond with them.
 

Placement Rating
On an average, students get placed from here with a salary of 6 LPA- 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
College provides off campus hostel facilities. I have only seen it from outside and they are good enough.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college consists of a big gate, followed by a beautiful garden and then the five- floor building, which is grand from outside and interiors are jaw dropping. From library to seminar halls, everything is inside the same building. Beside it there is the parking area. There is a basketball court too and that's the only outdoor sports facility that we have. Canteen is good and perhaps the only choice for meals as not many good food joints are there close to the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Since we were IT students, we waited for the inter college tech competition held at our college called ‘Hack Fest’. Our official tech fest was ‘Prabuddha’. Also, we had an amazing cultural fest called ‘Yagvik’. Fresher’s party also happened and farewell was something that I still remember. Apart from learning, which will stay with me for life, I also made few friends who will be my friends for life.

    Overall, the infrastructure and crowd of the college is good. Academics wise, faculties are really nice and placements have room for improvement.     Techno International Newtown is a subgroup of Techno branch of colleges affiliated with MAKAUT. Situated in Newtown, Smart City, this college holds a great record for providing students a good salary and LPA Packages. Overall, placement is good, some teachers and professors are also good enough.
