Overall Rating
I am pursuing Political Science (Hons.) from Vivekananda College New Delhi and it's a good college. I got this in spot round 2 and it's been really fun here. The faculty is also nice of the department. I recommend this college to upcoming freshers.
 

Academics Rating
The Political Science department teachers are very sweet and nice. Exams happen once per semester and internals test are taken for 12 marks per subject. Internal assignments and presentations are also there for the assessments. Overall, 2 assignments 1 presentation and 1 test is conducted on average per subject. Our college only teachers take these.
The fee for my course lies between Rs. 14000/- to Rs. 17000/-. Starting from Rs. 14,000/- in first year, it goes up to Rs. 16,000 in second year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very nice and polite and helpful. They are well knowledgeable in their subject and teach properly mostly. They use blackboards, PPTs, group discussions and tutorial classes for teaching. There are about 45 students in my batch and 3 core teachers per semester for 3 main subjects. I have a very nice bond with my teachers. They are very approachable and helpful.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Vivekananda College Delhi is very beautiful and with greenery and flowers everywhere. The campus is the most magnificent part of the college. Being an off campus college, it has the campus of an on campus college. The locality however, is a bit rural. The canteen is very nice; it's one of the best parts about the college. Medical facility is open every time. For security, there are security guards at the gates of the college.
 

Campus Rating
I am the vice president of ‘Thirkan’- the folk dance society of Vivekananda College Delhi. There are societies for almost everything in the college. There's an annual fest called ‘Pallavi’, it is a three day long fest, which is very beautiful and nice. Overall campus life is enjoyable here.

    It's been a year since I have enrolled in this College. The College is affiliated with University of Delhi, and is situated in its east campus. As UoD has two major campuses - north and south, the others are categorized as off campuses. Though being an off campus College, Vivekananda College is graded NAAC A+ which is quite similar to some of the south campus Colleges. The institute is very beautiful; with highly maintained gardens.     I got into this college through my CUET score. If your score is somewhere between 670-690 then you can expect to get this college in the first round with honors courses. It's a women's college situated in Vivek Vihar and the nearest metros of this college are - Jhilmil and Karkardooma but to reach metro station, you need to take an e-rickshaw every day....     Overall experience at Vivekananda college for women, University of Delhi is decent. It has a nice, big and beautiful campus. The faculty members are helping and are not strict at all. This makes it easier to survive under academics pressure when teachers provide you full support. The Infrastructure of the college is mediocre.
