Jaipur National University MBA Review By Shobhit Gupta

I took admission in 2019 after my BBA in Jaipur National University and my first year went smooth and there were some event happen in the institute and college experience was also pretty good but then a pandemic came which shut down everything so our university also got closed and started in online format and we were forced to jail in our home and we can’t get out of our home. So my second year in the college has nothing to do with the college and it did not even help in my learning because most of the time in between the classes network was very bad since every person with the smartphone using the internet. I choose university because my father said to me that this is a really good college. I feel other should join this university because there are lots of opportunities are available for the students.

I did get placed after my BBA but I got just 4.5 LPA job which was not sufficient for me so I decided to appear for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for the admission for MBA and I got Jaipur National University in the further process. After the selection of the institute I go through the group Discussion round and personal Interview which was like formality because it was really easy to qualify them. Graduation in any stream plus any relative entrance exam is the eligibility for this course. I enrolled in the Master of Business Administration because I wanted a hike in my salary such that I can fulfill my all needs in my salary. There are four semester in the program and each semester is easy to pass because the semester exams are easy if just studies in the class then you can easily get the marks in the end semester university exam. In each semester we get some assignment to complete and we get internal marks based on the marks in the assignments.

Faculty members in Jaipur National University are good and they are the finest teachers all over the India without any doubt. The explanation of each topic with great depth and keeping in mind the simplicity of the explanation. All the teacher has good experience in teaching and in doing job in good companies. There would be 50-55 students in class and each student can understand the learning from the teachers. Course curriculum is industry oriented so we do not need to worry about the relevance of the teaching. Many teachers had work on the good position with really good packages but they still prefer to teach the students and that is a very courageous decision for anyone. Other than the teaching, teachers also help in the organizing of the fest and event in the campus and also provide some financial support.

Placement was the main reason for me to go for the MBA and I can say that my reason was fulfilled as I got placed in the company named Jaro Education for the package of 12 LPA for the profile of the management trainee profile. I had to admit that lockdown was the reason for the placements of many students because all the companies test were online and we gave all the company's written test from our system at home. All the further recruitment process was happen online and that helped lot students to get a job. Companies that visit the campus are Jaro Education, Hike Education, SAP, IBM, Infosys, and Accenture. Campus placements are not as good as the placements of the school of business studies. Because in MBA program 95 percent students got placed in good companies but overall campus placement percentage was 60 percent.

Hostel in JNU Jaipur was good and it had all the amenities but I just lived in the first year of the college since in my second year of the college lockdown happened and I missed my college life due to corona virus. Talking about the hostel experience then it was fine because it has both positive and negatives. Talking about the positive about the hostel it was very clean and all the things inside the hostel was well maintained by the hostel works and the facilities provided in the college hostel was also good and the laundry facility was also great. And now talking about the negative aspect of the college hostel I can say that mess food was not good and Veg food was available in the mess and menu was also predefined and we do not have much to choose to eat. Hostel fee was also much high since very good rooms outside the campus were available to live in less price with same facilities.

Jaipur National University is huge in terms of area, opportunity, placements and buildings. College is build very beautifully from the entrance gate to the main ground. Architecturally this university would be one of the best universities in India. There are many facilities are available in the institute for the exposure of the students. There is block in the university which is dedicated to the extracurricular activities and for the clubs in the university. There is also open auditorium in the campus for the performances of the students and believe there is always a performance in the open auditorium. Library is also good and builds in an entire building and it open till 11 PM. Transportation facilities are also available for the hostel students for free. There are two main grounds in the university one for the cricket and one for the football. University is in the area of 170+ acres with pure environment.

My classes started in August 2019 and after one month an event was organized for the newly joined students in the university. Then on the Diwali one week before the Diwali and it was. In first semester we made many friend and we started enjoying our college life with friend and after Diwali in December one technical fest was organized by the university in which we made projects and I also participated in that fest. After the Technical fest semester exam happened and we started our second semester and two main fest happen in the month of March but then college closed due to pandemic and our campus life was over and I gave second and fourth semester exams online and third semester exams were offline. There are many workshops are organized in the university in which we also participate sometime and students from other university also visit for these workshops.
