About IIIT Allahabad: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
So far the overall experience has been so memorable. One of the best things I found in this Institute is its good coding culture and peer group. The Institute has high placement record.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in Electronics and Communication Engineering branch in IIIT Prayagraj. For admission to this Institute, you have to appear for JEE Main and score good rank in it and then apply to JOSAA for counseling. If we get this Institute we need to confirm our seat by paying the fees. Mid semester exams are conducted after 2 months from the start of the semester.
The fee of my course is around Rs. 79,060/- per semester. The tuition fees along with hostel fees nearly cost around Rs. 89,860/-per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are great as they have complete knowledge in their respective filed. They help the students whenever they have any doubts. The faculty members had done Ph.D from top Institutes. Professors come well prepared for the class along with PPTs and explain each concept nicely. They have great problem solving abilities and uses their unique tricks to solve the problems. Apart from this, the professors also conduct quiz and surprise tests.
 

Placement Rating
IIIT Prayagraj has a very good placement cell. One student coordinator and one faculty coordinator are also there to ensure transparency and fair placements. They make sure that every student receives best offer according to their skills. The highest package of 1.25 Crore per annum and average package is around 37 LPA. Students also receive exciting PPO offers and internship opportunities with good stipend.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they provides separate residential facilities for both girls and the boys, which has triple, double, and single occupancy room. The hostels are clean and hygienic. For the safety of students the doors of hostel get closed at 12 PM. I had a very good experience staying at hostel. The mess charges are Rs. 25,000/- per semester.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The size of the campus is around 100 acres and it is located in Jhalwa, Prayagraj. There are three academic blocks such as CC1, CC2, and CC3 for teaching purposes. Classes of my course take place in CC3. The block has AC facilities and the labs are also there. The campus also has auditorium for functions and a central library, where you can find every kind of books and research papers too.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is really awesome. Several technical and cultural clubs are there like Sarasva, AMS, genetics, etc. Every year, cultural fest named Effervescence is celebrated in the end of October and the technical fest named Aproksha is celebrated in the end of March. The sports fest called Asmita is also celebrated in the start of April.
