Exceptional Placement Opportunities at IIIT Allahabad

Overall Rating
IIIT Allahabad is one of the best and elite Institutions you can get through JEE Main exams. The campus life, fests, food, and location are satisfactory but placements are really good. The coding culture here is really famous and almost all the students here do coding and it pays off as well. The professors are highly qualified and helpful. The Institute has top tier research facilities.
 

Academics Rating
I am enrolled in the IT branch of the Institute. There are many other branches such as IT with Business Informatics, ECE, etc. The academics for all branches are not hectic at all. In the first semester, we study all courses and from the second semester, we only study our branch specific subjects which make academics less hectic and smooth. CGPA is also good mostly.
The total fee for all 4 years is less than Rs. 10,00,000/-, this includes hostel fee as well. The fee is quite affordable compared to other Institutions offering B.Tech courses. The fee for one semester is about Rs. 1,25,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are highly skilled in their respective fields. They are really helpful and are working on various interesting projects where we are also allowed to work with them. They teach using computers and projectors in classrooms. They also conduct regular labs which gives us great hands on experience. The student to teacher ratio is average and they are easily reachable. Most of the professors have completed their Ph.Ds from IITs and other foreign Institutions.
 

Placement Rating
The Placements of this Institute are really good. Internship and placement rates are there.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are compulsory for all students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IIIT Allahabad as a very good and well maintained infrastructure. The campus is spread across 100 acres and all the area is very well used. There are different blocks for different sections like Academics, Assessments, etc. There are many great food shops like Amul and Nescafe here which are very well maintained and provide high quality food. There is also a great cafeteria named 'Mr. Dewsis Café'. The sports facility is also very good and all sports are available. Medical facilities are good too.
 

Campus Rating
I have experienced a very relaxing and beautiful campus life here. The location of Prayagraj makes it even more beautiful with holy places and rivers. The crowd is very intelligent. They are competitive and very active in societies. There are multiple societies for everybody's interests. The annual cultural fest, 'Effervescence' is also very energising where many celebrities are invited.

    My overall experience at IIIT Allahabad is decent as the campus life here is average but the placements are excellent. Mess food is satisfactory and overall the Institute is good. The coding culture here is very good as all the students are coding on various good platforms. There are some hackathons organised along with some events and fest.
