My overall experience in this College has been quite good. The environment is very supportive and the faculty members are also helpful and approachable. The Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology provides decent placement opportunities. The fee structure is also affordable, making it a suitable option for middle class students. One of the key reasons I chose this College, was its balance between quality education and reasonable fees. It offers good value without putting too much financial pressure on students. This College is more flexible when it comes to attendance. The environment here is student friendly and they also provide many opportunities.

I chose Masters of Computer Application (MCA). My primary motive for enrolling in this program was to gain in depth knowledge and practical skills that aligns with my career goals. I also found the curriculum is up to date as per the industry standards. The eligibility criteria are quite straight forward; the applicant must have scored at least 60% percentage in their course. The admission process was smooth, you have to apply for the admission through their official website. Short listing the students will be based on merit or counseling. Then after short listing, document verification and payments will be done to confirm your seats. There will be CAE, viva, and assignments.

The fee of my course is around Rs. 1,15,603/- per year. The registration fee is Rs. 25,000/- at the time of admission. The College also provides various scholarships to OBC / SC / ST, PWD, and low income families.

The faculty members of my course are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Most of them have done their masters and some has also done Ph.D. They have completed their education from reputed Institutions. They have also published the research papers in national journals. The method of teaching is either PPTs to explain the complex topics or group discussions to improve critical thinking. The teachers solve the student’s queries patiently in class. The teacher student ratio is quite balanced in the class. They are approachable, friendly, and supportive. Many subjects are taught with real world examples like live projects, group discussions, industrial visits, etc.

Yes, GCET Greater Noida has a dedicated active placement cell. They organise campus recruitment for various companies. Prepares students for interviews through mock interviews, aptitude tests, and resume building sessions. They conduct the workshops for developing soft skills and also provide pre placement training sessions. Some reputed companies also visited our College for drives like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. The average package is between 4 LPA to 8 LPA and highest is 24 LPA. My placement experience is overall good.

Yes, the College offers hostel facilities for both girls and the boys. The hostels have single, double, and triple sharing rooms. I don't have much idea about the hostel rules timings and other things because I am not staying at the hostel.

The campus size is 52 acres and the blocks are well maintained. The College has a separate blocks and departments for all streams. The classroom has a capacity of 50 to 60 students. They also have a central library with thousands of books, journals, magazines, and digital resources. The College has modern labs with updated software and safety measures. My favorite place in the campus is garden area.

My overall campus life has been a memorable and enriching journey. The College crowd is good. The students are from diverse background and culture; most of them are friendly and ambitious. The College has several clubs and societies like cultural clubs, tech club, NSS units, etc. They also organise several annual fests and special events such as fresher’s party and farewell for the students. My campus life is the best phase of my life.
