My View of BHU Varanasi

Overall Rating
BHU Varanasi has a very rich cultural heritage and its great rankings made me choose this University. The overall campus of this University is great. This University provides various courses. This University provides a great numbers of facilities to the students.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is B.Com (Hons.) in Financial Market Management which is currently a very popular. For admission in this course you have to qualify CUET. After the exam you will get an admission letter and after that the students are required to submit the documents for verification. The admission process in this University is quite easy and quick.
The fee of my course is Rs. 2407/- per year but the fee for regular B.Com (Hons.) is Rs. 2300/- per year. The discounts are provided to SC/ST students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of BHU Varanasi are very helpful. For a particular subject there is a senior professor, assistant professor, and one auto scholars. The counselors are also there to look after the students well being and mental health. The methods of teaching include blackboards, group discussions, etc. The faculty members are approachable and help the students in every way possible.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the university provides residential facilities to student who has scored exceptional scores in the entrance exam. There around 72 hostels in total for students. There are separate hostels for girls and the boys. The quality of the food is great. Hostel fee is Rs. 3000/- but it may differ according to the hostel you live in.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Each classroom can accommodate around 100 students. The campus has libraries, auditorium, conference halls, etc. The University also has transportation facilities which are free of cost. The campus has sports ground and health centre facilities for the students who need special attention. The well being cell is also there.
 

Campus Rating
Yes, the BHU Varanasi has several clubs such as Debate club, etc. The campus crowd is good. The sports tournaments are also organised for the students, so that they can show their skills. The University conducts a fest called Kashi Yatra every year.

    BHU Varanasi is a very reputed University with good ranking and has a very good environment. There are a lot of facilities available for students such as free bus services, free health check up and even free medicines for students at health centres by using their health card.   • BHU Varanasi Central Library is Called 'Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Library'

    I am from Banaras, so choosing Banaras Hindu University Varanasi came out as a great option for me. All the things here fascinate me like the green and the peaceful environment. Moreover, the central library here is 24/7 open and has numbers of books. Students come here from all over India and some from even different countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.     One of the factors that made me choose BHU Varanasi is its well-known central library, which provides lots of books as well as high seating capacity for the students to study. Another factor is its affordability and the reputation it holds.   • BHU: Best of the Best
     

    Overall Rating
    As per IAS (Indian Agricultural Science), BHU is the 2nd NIRF ranking in India and 1st Agricultural university in India. Therefore, as I have to study from a best agricultural university and it is the best option. It has a yearly fee of 10000 INR only and hostel yearly fee of 5000 INR, providing a scholarship of 3000 INR per month to every student. As I am belonging to middle class, it is a best option....
