NSHM Kolkata is very friendly College. There is no ragging from seniors and they are very supportive. The College has great placement history. Campus is very spacious and well maintained. Faculties of respective departments are very supportive. There are many courses available. From the first day of College I took many experiences. It is located in a good location, many transport is available from there. I chose this College because it is very close to my house. I have done BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application), and there were 120 students. We got orientation program before starting our College and we got introduction about the placements, package and many other things.

I chose BCA because I had Computer Application in my 11th and 12th Class and I had interest about the subject. We all know that Computer or coding is important nowadays. The course can open the door to IT sector. If anyone want high paying jobs, this course will be one of the greatest choices for them. I am currently trying for Deloitte. My course is relevant for freelancing, web-designing, and many more.

The total fees of different courses in NSHM Kolkata can be approximately Rs. 2,98,000/- to Rs. 6,80,000/- for UG courses, and approximately Rs. 2,38,000/- to 7,65,000/- for PG courses. For my course, I had to pay Rs. 56,000/- per semester. The fees for lab and library access are included. Asha Jyoti and academic scholarships are available. These scholarships are merit based.

Faculties are very approachable. Our program coordinator Sir Majid Malik was the most engaging professor. He always pushed us to learn and build something beyond. For theory classes, faculties used their PPTs and explained them & sometimes they used black boards. We had 4 internal exams where we had to prepare our PPTs in relevant topic with our group. We also had to write reports and 3rd internal exam was written exam & 4th internal exam was online exam. The questions were prepared by MAKAUT.

The College has placement cell. Minimum 5 seminars about interview etiquettes and placements are held. Respective guest speaker came from companies and shared their experiences. Grooming tips are given by respective departmental professors.

Campus is updated and renovated every year. There is a huge playground for football & cricket and have court for basketball. Canteen facility is good. It is spacious and has 60 seats along with 20 tables. There is a café inside the campus. There are 4 conference rooms, 3 main buildings and each has 1 library with good seating arrangements. Private ambulance is available for emergency, and medical support room is available which has 3 beds along with the required medicines. There are 2 air conditioned and spacious seminar halls and 2 language labs are there as well.

‘LOGIN’ is the biggest event in the College. Students participate in Freshers and Farewell actively as we get mar points. The College holds ‘fit India camp’ and there are Spandha club for Yoga, Udaay club for sports and Angan club for dance, singing, and more. There is a language club where many languages are being taught. Students are highly engaging there. Blood Donation camp is held by College. Dramas, speeches are performed by College students on Environment Day.
