SDCH Shimoga Hostel Fees is Around Rs. 30,000/- Per Year

I had a very good experience in this college. Infrastructure is very good, the overall environment is amazing, and of course, the teaching and non-teaching staff is friendly. The fee structure is also affordable. This institute also offers extracurricular activities, encourages in sports, and motivates students to participate.

I was having an aim of becoming a Dental Doctor since childhood. I chose this institute as it is in an eco-friendly and calm environment, which provides peace of mind to study and concentrate in the academics. This institute also provides a lot of practical experience for my future career. There will be only one final exam conducted by the university, and there will be three internals exam conducted by the college.

My college fee structure is around Rs. 96,000/- and transportation fee is around Rs. 15,000/-, hostel fee is around Rs. 30,000/- Per Yearand canteen fee is around Rs. 3,300 per month. The college only permits entry via NET and the fees are directly given to govt. In the first year, and paying to college in the following years.

The faculty in Sharavathi Dental College is very friendly and caring. The faculty is very experienced with MDS degree, and has completed teaching for more than 5-7 years in the college. Their teaching methodology is excellent, because they focus of students understanding very well. They teach via ppt presentation for demonstration of pictures and use black board for making students understand the concept clearly. The problem solving ability is also good, because whenever I have approached them with doubts, they have always cleared it very well. They are very friendly with everyone giving everyone personal attention.

We will get good placement guidance here. This institute encourages each student to build a career.

The infrastructure of the college is average. There is one building, which is called the main building, has the hospital. It has 9 departments in it, with classrooms also inside the main building. It has a dedicated library and has a separate reading hall for students in which they are allowed to bring their own textbooks and it is 24/7 during exam hours. There is a canteen near the hostel itself. In addition, sports facilities are also there, not much maintained but are manageable.

Campus life is very good. In addition, the annual fests are very good. The annual fest happens for one week long, in which the best part is that teachers become more like friends participating in all the activities. Extracurricular activities in the college are very good, because we get to attend seminars, conferences, health camps, and many other doctors come to our college to teach us very good advances in Dentistry. My experience is this college is very good, I am truly very happy that I choose this college. You wouldn't notice when the college academic year has ended itself, very happy with it.
