About Assam University Silchar: Good Academics & Campus Life

Overall Rating
The University offers a peaceful environment and it is more focused on academics. The environment here is good for studies. The University offers various courses to the students. It provides quality education with affordable fee. The crowd of this University belongs to different culture. Being in this University is a blessing.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is Bachelor of Pharmacy. The University has strong academic curriculum. The academics provide us the knowledge of Medicine and Human Anatomy. Overall, the academics of this University are great.
In Assam University, the student has to the fee semester wise.
 

Faculty Rating
The behavior of the faculty members is good. They are very experienced and have wide knowledge in their respective field. Many of them have been listed in the science magazine for their and research and projects. They have good knowledge about medicines and they teach us well. The teachers are very helpful and they help the students in every way possible. They also provide notes to the students. They maintain discipline and are very punctual.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this University is good. The campus has lab facilities for different subjects such as Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmaceutics, and several others. The infrastructure needs more improvement. The classrooms have good benches for the students. We have big auditorium where 500 people can sit.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in Assam University so far is good. The crowd is good and well behaved. All the batches work together and have a strong bond. There are several activities which occur annually and bring out the best experience for the students. Many celebrities are invited in the events and fests to perform and motivate the students. My department also conducts a fest called Generix.

    Overall, my two year journey at this University has been quite good. This campus is actually surrounded by trees which create a very peaceful environment.
