KPMSOL Mumbai fee for BBA.LL.B (Hons.) fee is Rs. 3,50,000/- per year

The Kirit P. Mehta School of Law Mumbai of SVKM's NMIMS (Deemed-to-be-University) is one of the prestigious educational Institutions providing education in the field of Law. The course at this Institute is very structured, detailed, and carefully planned for the convenience of students. The major issue is of attendance since there is 80% compulsory attendance required and if not fulfilled the student has to either repeat the semester or can be debarred. The campus is located at a very feasible location which makes the travelling a bit convenient and opens the doors for various internship opportunities.

The course I am pursuing is BBA LLB which comprises of Management and Law papers. The course is spread out in detail in the span of five years. While I was in my first and second year, it mainly covered all of the Management papers like Business Environment, Finance, Economics, etc. where in every semester; there were one or two Law papers which were introduced like CRPC, Law of Contracts, etc. But the course structure has changed now and Law papers are being introduced from first and second year itself. The exams are divided in two parts- internals which contains quiz, group discussions, class participation and written paper for 20 marks and then the finals. You can take admission through Clat UG / NMIMS LAT / LSAT scores.

The fees structure for my course includes tuition fees, admission and registration fees and no other fees is required. It amounted to around Rs. 2,50,000/- per year but the structure has changed now and has increased it to around Rs 3,50,000/-.

The faculty here is great with various degrees and great knowledge in their field. They are always ready to help and motivate students to excel not only in academics but also in other extracurricular activities like moot courts, organizing events, fests, etc. There is both permanent and visiting faculty but mostly all are great in whatever field they teach and are very well-versed with the course structure.

Yes, we do have a placement cell which is very active and working towards getting internship opportunities from various Law firms. The placement cell consists of people from the administration department as well as a team of students is also working in the cell.

There are hostel facilities available which can be accessed through the website of NMIMS itself but mostly students prefer renting a place or staying in as paying guests.

The infrastructure is quite great now. The classes are taken at Old Mukesh Patel building which is still under construction. There are all facilities available in the building like library, moot court room, conference hall, etc. The only major problem is with the lifts since there are only two lifts available. There is always a cue to look forward to. Moreover, there is a student ID provided which is accessible in all the SVKM buildings. The canteen food is also good.

Overall campus of KPMSOL Mumbai is great and is located at a prime spot providing access to all the facilities. There are fests and events which are organized by the students annually and all can take part in those. There are various committees like Cyber Cell, Moot Court Committee, MUN, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Placement Cell, etc. where students are a part with faculties being the in-charge. The crowd is from all the parts of the world and is excellent.
