DBUU Dehradun Offers Early Bird Scholarship to the First Year Students

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun is value for money with its high quality education and the support it gives us in every event. Professors are friendly in general but strict when it comes to studies. We study with focus without any disturbance and our University is placed amidst the greenery. This University is affordable for me and gives good placement. I want a good package and for that I chose this University. The hackathons, events, project, Navdhara motivate us and these things let us open our minds to do something great in the future.

My course is B.Tech CSE. I have seen the good packages of this course and the study plan, the coding, the projects, and all the new things; I love them. I wanted to learn new things everyday and wanted a good package in the future so I choose this course. You have to pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Math in 12th standard for admission in the University. For the scholarship you have to get above than 75% and the criterion for the admission is accordingly. The exams are mid sem, semester exam with 100 marks, 4 assignments, 2 class test, and some quick question in every class. Academics let us open our minds and help us to see things in other ways.

My semester wise fee is Rs. 72,000/- with the scholarship of 86% along with the army and early bird scholarship in the first semester.

The faculty members or professors are professional and they do their best in their subject. The faculties teach us everything and solve our doubts as many times as we ask. You can approach them in lunch or during free period for any queries. They will give you a solution and also teach you at any time. They use the PPTs through projectors and give us the question bank after every unit. They also provide us with entire notes of classes online. I love the way our teacher teaches us with full focus and support us in our projects & studies.

The placement cell in Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University helps us to get a good placement by teaching us the soft skills & the skills needed in the industry. They let us know what should we do and what is important to learn for the interview.

Yes, our University has boys’ and girls’ hostels with double or triple occupancy rooms. The mess provides a normal quality of food. Hostel fee differs on the basis of the room occupancy type. The double occupancy rooms charge Rs. 1,20,000/- and triple occupancy rooms charge Rs. 80,000/-. Timing for the closing is 10:30 for boys and 6:30 for girls. The warden checks the rooms at night and do not allow anyone to go out.

There is a library in every building of the University with different books in each according to courses. We are 68 students in the class and all can be seated easily & comfortably. There are Python and C labs, Physics lab, Electronics lab, etc and 2 seminar halls with good condition. The University sports meet allows everyone to participate, compete, and learn new things. There is E-sport in the University too.

Our campus is quite big and campus life is amazing I made new friends from different states and talk like brothers and help each other in need. There are good amount of clubs in the University like , sports club, dance club, cultural club etc. and I wanted to join some of the clubs. The events like treasure hunt, E-sport tournament, etc. are organised in the University. Our University also celebrates prestigious days like Independence Day, Janmastami, Teacher's day etc. The annual fests are celebrated & the Pinak are called for the songs making the students thrilled with this.
