DBUU Dehradun Provides Practical Exposure to Students

Overall Rating
My experience in the University has been average till now. The campus of this University is not that huge. The fee here is affordable. I wanted to study in Dehradun and as per my perspective this University is good in both the placements and the academics. The faculties of this University are responsible and good. The University provides holiday of 15 to 20 days before the beginning of the new semester.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE because I wanted to choose this course and it in demand right now. The eligibility criteria are that students must have passed their class 12th boards with minimum of 55%. The exams are held in every two months and after this University conduct end semester exams. Overall, the academics of this University is good and make us industry ready. The University organises various industrial visits for the students.
The fee of my course in DBUU Dehradun is Rs. 95,000/- per semester. The University also provides scholarship to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good and supportive. All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced. The teaching methods include PPTs and in the first year, most of the time the teachers use whiteboards. The teachers will solve all the doubts of the students and at the end of the class, there will be a little bit of discussion. The teachers maintain a good environment in the class. Some of the teachers are strict. Overall, the faculty members of this University are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the there is a proper placement cell. It guides the students and how to study to get better placements. The cell conducts seminars and discussion on a regular basis. Various companies visit our campus for placements and some of them are Wipro, HDFC Bank, Adobe, and many more.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides hostel facilities to both male and female students. There are 6 hostels in which 4 are for boys and 2 is for girls. The mess provides good quality of food. The mess provides 4 time meals such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The hostellers are not allowed to go outside without the gate pass and permission of the parents. The students are required to enter the hostel by 7:30 PM. My personal experience at the hostel is very good and the University organsie hostel Premier League and many more events.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of DBUU Dehradun has academic block. There is different building for all the departments. The classroom has the capacity to accommodate around 80 students at a time. In medical department, the classrooms have the capacity to accommodate enough number of students. The campus has 3 canteens which provide good food to the students. The transportation facilities are also available for the day scholar. Overall, the infrastructure of this University is good.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus life till is average. There are various clubs such as Sports club, Music club, etc. The University conducts various fests for the students and they are very memorable and good. The seniors conduct various hackathons and several other events. The University organises 500+ events, activities & programs every year.

    After checking out many Universities not just in Dehradun but elsewhere too, I found DBUU Dehradun to be the best. The first thing is that, it's a budget friendly University and no compromise is there on quality education. University serves the students to the best of their interests but self practice is what will make life easy here. University provides us many opportunities and thereby a good exposure too....     My overall experience of DBUU Dehradun, upto date has been awesome. The infrastructure, faculty, students, and events have been amazing. It is a new experience each day at the university. The university is known for its location, placements, and fests that are organized every year in the campus.     Dev bhoomi was started in 2005 with few students and now has approx 8,000 students. Earlier I was preparing for NEET but I couldn’t make it so I have to choose something related to biology.     The university infrastructure is good. It is far from the city which is good for the people like me who love peace and stay away from the city.
