SLS Pune Conducts SLAT Exams to Offer Admission in B.A.LL.B & BBA.LL.B Courses

Symbiosis Law School, Pune does provide a great exposure to students in terms of learning and knowing your true self, might be a little intimidating in the beginning, but will eventually blend in. I chose this institution because of its excellent reputation and experienced faculty. Well, what truly sets this College apart is its focus on character building in students, which helps students make their own decisions as they have a variety of clubs and committees. With all these, they also have moots every odd semester & one compulsory moot for the first years, a mindset as a law student. Which helps set the students.

I have taken up BBA.LL.B (Hons.) as I want to get into the corporate field. As for eligibility criteria, they have an exam called SLAT, which requires a minimum score, and after that, they have a PI interview call for the students, and that would be where the primary selection process takes place. About the frequency of exam, each semester has 2 internals, one would be an assignment, and the other would be a written, and finally, the semester exams. Well academics preparation would depend on the how you would take it and as of real-life challenges to be faced, let us be honest here, no one will be ready just by to face the real world just by completing academics.

The fee structure varies every year, so this would be out of my knowledge. However, as of our batch, the fee is 4,00,000/- per semester, and I have no scholarships or financial aid. There would be a discount in fee for the first year, if you have gotten the highest in the entrance exam amongst all the students.

The faculty here is fantastic. They have excellent knowledge about their field. Some faculties do give assignments. As for a teaching method, they use PPT and the digital board for teaching, and the faculty does resolve the doubts; it might be a little tricky during the lecture, but personal interaction with the faculty would be great. The student to teacher ratio is a lot in this college. The faculty is fantastic, they are super approachable, they clear your doubts, they help you write research papers and even help you publish them, if you need any, and they give you great advice.

SLS Pune does provide hostel facility for both boys and the girls. For girls, there are two hostels one is within the campus and the other one is right in front of the college. However, for boys, they have to walk a little from the college. The mess food is average and the quality of hygiene is good; in the hostel, they provide 4 times a day.

The Institute has a single standalone building, near the airport, with a total of 3 floors and many classrooms on each of them. Each classroom would take about 80 students more or less, college has a library, and a study room open until 9 PM. There is also 1 auditorium and 1 moot court room. They have a canteen on the ground floor, with a coffee stall outside and the college also has a gym within the premises and a place for ground sports, and a medical room within the campus.

Overall, campus life is amazing. The crowd is amazing. There and many activities that would be there if you join these clubs and as of fest, Symbiosis is known for their fests and events, it never lets you down. I am pretty happy for how it is going in this college until now.
