Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science B.Tech Review By Ramarapu Phaniteja

I chose Kakatiya Institute of Technology on my own, based on my EAMCET rank. It is a top rated institute with NAAC "A" accreditation. It is spread over 65 acres covered in greenery, making it perfect peaceful place to study. This college offers wide range of courses in B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, with respective lab facilities and also has an Innovation, Incubation, Research and entrepreneurship development cell too boost students with their idea advancements.

I specifically enrolled in Computer science and engineering course in KITS Warangal, which is the current trending course in whole World, to learn programming and be a tech giant. There are also similar other courses like CSN, CSO, CSM which also deal with programming and stuff. I've learnt c, c++, Java, python, data structures, algorithms, DBMS, CLOUD computing, machine learning and many more in my 4 year course, with minimal or no prior foundation in this field. Wide range of courses are even offered as electives, majors and minors.

Faculty here are very dynamic, with profound knowledge in their own fields, having completed their PhD's from reputed NITs and JNTU. They update the students with the real world changes happening. Each one of them is supportive for the student's innovative ideas and helps them in finding their passion. They are friendly as well as motivate.

We do have a placement cell in our college, through which I got placed in a world reputed company, Oracle. They bring in world class companies ranging from startups to MNCs. They also provide trainings for a good period of time, to help students improve their coding, professional and soft skills that help them crack the interviews easily during campus placements. They ensure every enrolled student to be placed in a good company with decent package income.

Yes there are hostels built separately for girls and boys, which include good amenities, eatable food, ragging free environment and which ensure safe and sound well being of students.

There are separate blocks for every branch like CSE, ECE, CIVIL, EEE, IT etc. and a central library that has world class collection of books in all different fields. There is also a self owned RO water plant that supplies pure water all over the college. There are also bus facilities for students from far away. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and digital laboratories, electrical and mechanical labs are also available.

It's a peaceful campus with tress everywhere that is well maintained every day. The campus reflects a garden with peaceful atmosphere to sit and study at any corner of it. Students can involve in many Student activities like dance, music, arts, NSS, NCC, photography etc. by joining into student activity centre. There will be 2 major events SUMSHODHINI and SANSKRITI, technical and cultural respectively where students can immerse themselves in a good social environment.
