Zakir Husain College New Delhi: My Beautiful College

Overall Rating
My current overall experience at Zakir Husain College, New Delhi is good. I haven't got any problems in main campus and classes and I can say that it is a misconception of the College that it is kind of dangerous but it is not I met people who are really helpful and kind. The College is listed in the 201-300 rank band in 'College' category. Even the staff members are good and they stick to their teaching part very strictly, that is a really good thing and even my canteen's food is nice and tasty and it is clean.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I have chosen is B.A (Hons) Political Science and I personally found this course as very respective and nice as I am from Commerce background but I'll suggest to the next coming batch to opt for this course if you have to prepare for Civil Services as it will connect you from early times to modern times and with some future assumptions also which I find really very interesting. Indeed, Political Science is a very respectful course in itself.
I would like to say that the fee structure is efficient for a rich to normal rich family but not really very efficient for middle class families or someone whose financial condition is not good because as it is Government College, the fees should not be this much.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is really very nice and some teachers are really very helpful. I liked one thing that there are 2-3 specially abled teachers in my College which makes me think that they doing good by giving them opportunity as everyone deserves to get equal opportunities. When I first went to College, from that time they are really very helpful and nice to me.
 

Placement Rating
The College gives offers good Placement opportunities to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Zakir Husain College New Delhi does not have residential facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good in some classrooms in old building and very nice in new building. My College has really very good and beautiful botanical gardens which make it more pretty as it is one of the biggest campuses. It has 3 to 4 big gardens and has variety of cactuses in a rock garden which I found very interesting. Even the sitting and canteen area are good.
 

Campus Rating
As it is one of the biggest and oldest campuses in Delhi University I found it pretty good. The College crowd is a lot sometimes and some people are good, but overall my experience in College has been good and even in campus my experience has been good. There are many extracurricular activities organised by College which one can take part in and can really enjoy.

    This is my college 'Zakir Hussain Delhi College', second oldest college of India. Previously it was known as Delhi College. First of all why I got enrolled in it is because it has a good network of transportation artery around it.     Being in a college of University of Delhi that is Zakir Hussian College, gives the experience of studying in a prestigious college of India.
