My Valuable Experience at BHU Varanasi

Overall Rating
First of all, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi is my dream University. So I got admission and chose the MPMIR course which is a professional course & the placement of this course is also good. This University has a great alumni network which helps the students in placements.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course because it helps you to enhance your skills in the HR field and HR is a very demanding profession in current time. There is a different department for this course which is not common in other Universities. You can get admission through the CUET PG exam which is conducted by the NTA. It is a Computer Based Test. Students shall secure the minimum cut off marks and then go for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. After which, total marks are declared and based on that the students get admission. All the documents shall be submitted for verification.
My annual course fee is around Rs. 60,000/-. There is also a scholarship program for students called the NSP in which your fee is reimbursed by the Government.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at BHU Varanasi are very helpful. They help us with our doubts and are very supportive. They teach us through PPTs and also share their PPTs for our further studies. Every Saturday, they conduct Group Discussion and ask students to present for their skills development and confidence boost. Moreover, they help us with placements. My experience has been very good with faculty members as they always motivate me.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Committee is present in our Institution for helping the students regarding placements and internship programs. They organise Mock Interviews and Group Discussions to train the students. The highest package offered is around 18 LPA and the average package is around 10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The University provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. In total, there are around 60 hostels. The name of my girls’ hostel is ‘Gomti’. The overall hostel facility is good and the mess food quality is also good. Hostel fee is around Rs. 4800/- per semester. There are certain rules for the safety of girls such as gate closing timing of 10 PM. Strict Security is also provided.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic blocks at Banaras Hindu University Varanasi are well-designed. The infrastructure is traditional. Classrooms have good interior design, comfortable benches, Projectors, etc. There is a Cafeteria for snacks. My favourite place is the Library that provides a peaceful environment to study. A Health Centre is there for any medical emergency. Moreover, Sports facilities are also provided.
 

Campus Rating
This is a very beautiful and peaceful campus where you experience a lot. A lot of students come to get admission here. There are a lot of Clubs for extracurricular activities like sports club, cultural club, and so on. Fests are also conducted for the students such as ‘Spandan’, ‘Abhikalpan’, etc.

    BHU Varanasi is a very reputed University with good ranking and has a very good environment. There are a lot of facilities available for students such as free bus services, free health check up and even free medicines for students at health centres by using their health card.   • BHU Varanasi Central Library is Called 'Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Library'

    I am from Banaras, so choosing Banaras Hindu University Varanasi came out as a great option for me. All the things here fascinate me like the green and the peaceful environment. Moreover, the central library here is 24/7 open and has numbers of books. Students come here from all over India and some from even different countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.     One of the factors that made me choose BHU Varanasi is its well-known central library, which provides lots of books as well as high seating capacity for the students to study. Another factor is its affordability and the reputation it holds.
