Overall Rating
I am currently studying in Chandigarh University, Mohali that has great infrastructure with about 150 acres of campus area. The campus vibe is good. The University organises many University events and fests. The NIRF ranking is good which make it my choice. The placements are decent like everyone gets chance to prove themselves and get a desired job.

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing B.E degree in Computer Science domain. I chose this course as it gives me practical and real-world knowledge of the projects, which company actually demands. There are no as such strict criteria to enroll in the course. The admission process is quite simple and easy as you need to visit admission cell and the staff is already present to provide you complete details of the University. There are exams every month that affect your CGPA and the semester is of almost 3.5 months long.
As I am 2027 passout batch so, my fees was 240000 per year without any scholarship. You can avail scholarship upto 100% by passing cucet exam which happens after you do registration. Another method to get scholarship of upto 50% is through 12th percentage or jee mains percentile. There is as such no special discount in fees provided to specific category students except sports quota.

Faculty Rating
As I am in 2027 pass out batch, so my fees is Rs. 2,40,000/- per year without any scholarship. You can avail scholarship upto 100% by passing CUCET exam, which happens after you do registration. Another method to get scholarship of upto 50% is through 12th percentage or jee mains percentile. There is as such no special discount in fees provided to specific category students except Sports Quota.

Placement Rating
The faculty is of diverse background, some with good knowledge experience, and others have a lot of room for improvement. The faculty members usually teach through presentations while some faculties of maths used to teach through whiteboards. The teacher used to solve problems of students seriously. Each subject has faculty and master teacher. You can approach your teachers through class representatives or directly through WhatsApp message.

Hostel Rating
Yes, University offers residential facilities as well within the campus. The hostels for girls and boys are separate. Girls have total 5 hostels while boys have 4 hostels. Within each hostel, there are approximately 6 to 7 floors with each floor about 50 rooms. The girl’s rooms are 4 sweaters while some are AC rooms of 3 sharing. The boys have 4 and 3 seater rooms. The mess food is average in taste. The mess maintains proper hygiene with a variety of food items. There are 4 times food provided including Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. My University experience is quite satisfactory as I got good roommates.

Infrastructure Rating
The University has great infrastructure with blocks of each year separated. The campus is spread in 150 acres. Each block has 6 to 7 floors with each floor with labs and classroom and each classroom has seating capacity of 70 students. Classrooms are well occupied with AC. There is library in every block but block B1, C3, and D6 has central library. Students can study in these libraries until 10 pm. The University has too much greenery and my favorite part is fountain where most of the events took place.

Campus Rating
The overall campus life experience is good and fun loving. Students can take part in many activities like dancing, singing and many more. The campus has too much crowd as there are many students enrolled in different courses. Yes, there are many clubs, which are operated by students, and you can be part of multiple clubs like Gaming, Dancing, Singing, etc. Students are involved in many extracurricular activities like sport events. The University used to organise fests and events almost every month. If you want to enjoy your campus life than Chandigarh University is for you.
