Indus University offers a good experience, though the college lacks in campus life as a college must have a good campus, still the parking facility is amazing. Placements here in our college are average not that much beneficial, they offer medium package like around 3-4 lakh per year. Students in this college are quite friendly and maintain the decorum of the college; they do not entertain any other mischievous act that could harm any students. The security of our college is also good they do not allow anyone without ID-card to enter the college. Also wearing ID-card is compulsorily in our college. The college staff here is very nice; they'll help you out in any problem. There is a special department for AEROSPACE engineering as our college provides a good aerospace education in Ahmadabad.

I have chosen here MBA course, the reason behind choosing this college is that I wanted good academics in my course. Here at Indus University one thing I like is that they focus more on academics and try that students try to improve in academics. Faculties help a lot here; they help students during exam time and provide good study material. Admission is done on the basis of graduation result, like they make a merit list based on result of graduation. Also they provide admission through management quota if seats are vacant. I suggest an average student to take admission here who is not more focused on placements because placements are average. Now about the examination pattern, the college takes two exams in a semester, one exam is conducted two months after the start of semester and is named MIDSEM, other one is conducted at the end of semester that exam is ENDSEM. One subject is of four units in our college. Midsem exam is conducted for two units and end SEM is conducted for all four units.

Faculties in our college is dedicated. They are highly qualified and experienced; they help students and guide them. They complete the portion on time and they also conduct revision classes if anyone could not understand the concept when taught in class. They also give practice sheets for practicing at home also they provide a lot of assignments so that we can remember all the concepts before the exam. They teach in such a way that the concept is thoroughly cleared. They guide as mentor to students who take part in events that are conducted by colleges, also they help students if they are facing any personal issue or having problem in academics.

The university has dedicated Training and placement cell that help students to grab the best of placements and get an internship in companies. This cell help students to train for the placement rounds by helping them to create resume, interview preparation and other placement related activities. Student can sit in placement in last year of the course. Several good companies like Wipro, Oracle, Byju’s, Tata and many such other companies come here for placements. The package offered in our college is nearly around 3-4 lakh per annum. The highest package last time was 12 lakh per annum, lowest package was 3 lakh per annum and an average package is of 5-6 lakh per annum. Also, the cell focuses on providing a wide range of internships to students after every semester, which is compulsory to do. Most of the students are not interested in placement rounds as their target is for foreign studies so less students sit for placement round and hence chances for selection is high compared to other colleges.

There are two separate buildings for BOYS and GIRLS, one building is for boys’ hostel and other one is for the girls’ hostel. The hostel is well maintained and clean. Rooms are spacious and well-ventilated with proper lighting. In one room we can stay max of two people. The room consists of two fans, AC (if required), two beds and two study table. There is general washroom on each floor for students to use, in winter season they provide hot water. Below the boys hostel there is GYM area. Students can use it at specific time mentioned in the RULEBOOK. The quality of the food in the mess is also good. The cooks here are very good and they cook delicious food. Students living in the hostel get breakfast, lunch and dinner. The mess menu is changed regularly to provide a variety of dishes to the students. Hostel also has one common room where students can relax and interact with each other.

The college infrastructure is awesome though it is small when compared to other colleges. The library of our college is not that much vast, it has collection of books, journals and newspapers. The classrooms of our college are well spacious and are equipped with benches and fans. Each classroom has projector, teaching is completely done on white board that is through projector. The computer labs have excellent quality of computers that can run any heavy software. There is a large playground in which we can play different sports like cricket, football, kabbadi, volleyball and many games. There are two buildings one is main building where all kind of official works are done and other is bhanwar building where academics are conducted and staff-room is located.

Indus University campus life is vibrant. The college has a student's council namely SAC (student activity cell) that organizes various cultural and sports events throughout the year. One recent event was INSTINCTS it was an amazing event, the event lasted for about one week and included all type of activities. There are also various clubs in our colleges which entertain students. The college conducts and annual cultural fest that attracts students from different colleges across the country. College also conducts seminars, workshops and conferences that provide students with an opportunity to interact with experts and gain knowledge.
