Indus University B.Tech Review By Parth Mehul Dave

Indus University is located in Rancharda, Ahmadabad. Many things about Indus University inspired me to take admission in Indus. Out of those things; one thing is that the college is located not much far away from my home. Some of the things which I like about Indus is that the faculties are very skilled and have good knowledge about the subject they are teaching and clear all the doubts asked by the students. The classrooms and the labs are also very well maintained with computers of good quality. It also has a library, stationary, canteen, boys’ hostel, girls’ hostel, basketball court and a big ground which can be used to play cricket, football or any other sport and it can also be used for parking cars. The college also organises various events in the college such as Instincts, Aethos, Sparx and Collympics.

I have enrolled in Indus University for the course Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). My motive for enrolling in this course was that first of all I was very interested in learning new computer languages; develop applications, websites and much more. The second reason for enrolling in this course was that coding skills are very important for everyone in the modern world. The course CSE includes many subjects like Java, C++, C, Digital Electronics and many more which are taught during the 4 year period.

The faculties of the college are very skilled and knowledgeable. They clear all our doubts and encourage us to gain better knowledge of the subject. The faculties also give us tips to score good marks in the mid semester and end semester exams. They teach us through presentations which help us to understand the topic better.

Yes we do have a training and placement department in our institute. The training and placement department helps the students really well to prepare their resume, prepare for job interviews and also organises industrial visits. The placement cell helps students to acquire jobs in the industry in many ways.

Yes we do have residential facilities in our institute. There is separate hostel for boys as well as for girls. As I do not live in the college hostel, I do not have much idea of the hostel facilities but there is a canteen for the students to eat in.

The college has many classrooms, labs with advanced computer systems used to write complex programs, library, canteen, separate hostel for both boys as well as girls, an area for parking vehicles, basketball ground, sports ground, etc. The infrastructure of the college is impressive and there are many amenities available in the college.

The institute's overall campus life is good. There are many events organised by the college such as technical events, cultural events, sports competitions, dance and music events and many more. There are also different types of clubs in the college for students who are interested in curricular activities.
