All about DTU Delhi

Overall Rating
Delhi Technological University has a lush green campus and it is located in Samaypur Badli. The nearest metro station to it is Samaypur Badli itself and it is on the yellow line. If you live in Delhi and opting to do B. Tech. then it's a very good college to opt for after IIT Delhi and IIIT Delhi. You will be having lots of good experiences while doing B. Tech. in it.
 

Academics Rating
I took admission in it in the year 2021 and opted for Environmental Engineering because my rank wasn't so good that I can take upper branches but it’s not bad after all and I was a bit interested in this branch because I was interested in the environment. The rank for the general category is about 1 lakh in the spot round and you have to give JEE Mains to get into it.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 5 main subjects in one semester and there are 8 semesters. One optional subject is Foundation Electives (FEC), there are several choices that you can opt for in FEC like Physical Education, etc. and you will be given 4 credits for each subject and 2 for FEC. The faculty of my branch is so good they take you on several visits and various things.
 

Placement Rating
Our college history for placements is so good that it is so easy to get offers of crores if your CGPA and the projects are good. In upper branches like CSE, the average package is around 25 LPA and the highest is around 2.4 CPA. In the case of my branch, it's around 13.5 LPA and the highest is 65 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
If you are from outside Delhi you can get easily a hostel. There are lots of hostels in our college, there is a newly constructed hostel also for both boys and girls. Fees for the old hostels were around Rs. 8,500 per semester in both boys' and girls' hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate departments and buildings for every branch, a separate building for the library, separate administration blocks for the official work, and one open-air theatre(OAT). The whole campus is covered with high-speed Wi-Fi and a library also, with around 200-300 Mbps of average speed in the whole campus. On the daily basis, our college is cleaned.
 

Campus Rating
If you are DTUian don't take tension for your college life, you are going to experience a whole new world in it. There are about 3-4 cultural fests and about 2-3 tech fests in our college in a year. In our college some artists like Lt. Sidhu Moosewala, Mohit Chauhan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, etc., and in tech fest you will get various competitions and internship opportunities.

    Therefore, DTU New Delhi has been a perfect choice for me. From fests, cultural programs, competition, seminars to academics with a modern, and aesthetic academic block for classes.     DTU New Delhi has its branch as earlier the University was known for Engineering and not it offers various other courses as well. The students pursuing UG program get a lot of new insights.     Choosing University was not my first choice. I always wanted to study in Delhi University but entering the gates of this University changed my life so much.     I started studying at Delhi Technological University in the session 2024 and so far the experience has been good. The people have been great and administrative faculty has been helpful too. We can also ask our seniors for notes and they at times also help me with my doubts, they are very cooperative.
