My college days in oriental college of technology

Overall Rating
My experience at the Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal is very good. I am so happy that I took admission to this college. It is the second-best engineering college in Bhopal and this college has so many students.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Mechanical Engineering, which is a core branch of engineering. In my class, there are only forty-nine students but there are one hundred fifty seats available in the college for the mechanical branch. It is a very good branch for those who have an interest in cars or bikes and machines.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is good in Oriental College of Technology and all the faculty are Ph.D. and M. Tech. degree holders from IITs. The faculty teaches very well, they say practical knowledge is the best knowledge and theory is only for exams. The style of teaching is the same as in school but they focus more on the practical knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell and it helps students to get a job.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are 3 hostels in our college, 2 for girls and 1 for boys. The hostel infrastructure is good and the food quality is also good. In our boys’ hostel, there is a gym, movie rooms, games room, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
At Oriental College of Technology, the infrastructure is very good and very big buildings there are more than 200 plus rooms and labs, there is one big ground for football and cricket and 2 small grounds for NCC and basketball and in the back side of our Oriental College of Technology there is space where all the trees are and there are 3 gates.
 

Campus Rating
In this college, 9000 plus students have taken admission. Some clubs encourage the students like the dance club. In Oriental College of Technology, there are fests also like tech fest and tech acme, and in college, there are other activities also like cricket, farewell, etc.

    I choose this institution because I didn't scored good in JEE Mains entrance exam and my parents didn't allowed me to take drop so I had no option left other than a three tier college. So as far as I remember I scored around 75 percentile and as I am from general category I couldn't get any government college with top branches.
