I have taken admission in September 2022. I opted for the college as per my JEE rank; I was offered the Electronics and Communication Engineering from JIIT 62 which I took for my further studies. The main reason for taking admission in this college was the student strength, as it has only 800-900 students per year. Thus, it thoroughly feels good to be given many opportunities on campus placements. Along with that the college has great location and transportation connectivity. And if you are willing to have a good college life with respect to the location, I would perfectly recommend you to take admission in this college.

As told earlier I secured a rank in JEE, so as per that I was offered ECE branch of this college, the course is good if you are willing to gain knowledge in field of core electrical science, moreover the core ECE companies do not come as recruiters as they should be, but if you are so dedicated to your goals then you can move up to the ECE branch of this college and if not then you can move towards coding as then you would be allowed to sit in the campus placements as well. The entry requirements majorly vary as per the rank you have secured, if the rank is less than 50,000 ranks in JEE then you would be allotted the CSE otherwise if more than that or lesser than 1.5L rank you would be offered ECE. The eligibility criteria is that you should have appeared in 10+2 exams with above 60% and may or may not have attempted the JEE examination.

The best thing about the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology is the faculty; the faculty members are mainly Ph. D. holders from reputed institutions and mainly 90% are from IIT. As any normal institution, some faculty members are good and some are not and everyone has different ways of teaching, but the majority of the faculty members are good. The way faculties interact and teach the children is brilliant. The loads of the assignments are too not bulky, the knowledge of the faculty is brilliant, and you can anytime interact with them, they would surely reply to your queries.

Placements at our college are good, as our seniors are placed at very renowned companies. If one is prepared well and has a CGPA of more than 7.5 then they can expect a placement of around 9-12 LPA based on the knowledge and skills. The highest package from our college is 85 LPA on campus and 1.2 Cr off campus.

The hostel is not as good as compared to its charges and overall facilities are also average as the rooms are small, washrooms are less in number but however they are kept neatly and are cleaned every day. The gate timings for both boys and girls are 9 pm but the boys can roam inside campus anytime which is not the case for girls.

The hostel infrastructure is good but if you are not a day scholar and are a hosteller then you are going to save a lot more time as the campus is only 15 acres. So hostels and academic centers are very close to each other that can save up your huge time regarding studies. The campus has a temple, two cafes, one general store, and laundry in it. There are two hostels for boys and as well as two hostels for girls, the abbey is of 19 floors which has 50 rooms per floor in it. The environment of the campus is lush green and students staying on campus are going to enjoy it.

The overall campus life is good, but however less happening as compared to other colleges. The college has tough academics as compared to other colleges which makes it hard for the students to get free time for students to develop their skills. The crowd of the college is good but not very diverse as mostly students are here from Northern parts of India like UP, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Haryana. The fests are organised once in a year around February. Though there are not many sports facilities, still there are many clubs to participate in and engage overall on the campus.
