College life at Oriental

Overall Rating
The Oriental Institute of Science and Technology’s ambiance is something you can't get enough of. It has a beautiful campus which is nature friendly. With a beautiful ambiance it also provides knowledge and the teachers here are so friendly that they help you cope out of any problem. Overall my journey throughout the 4 years was really mesmerizing and unforgettable.
 

Academics Rating
Basically, the institute provides a lot of courses in bachelor of technology with many branches and many new branches were also introduced with branches like the AI-ML and the Data Science. Moreover, the institute also provides pharmacy and management courses.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties or professors are pillars of any institute and keeping this in mind the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology faculty members are friendly and they treat the students like their own children. If students face any issues then the faculties as well as the head of department make sure that students never face that problem again, and try to solve that problem as soon as possible.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology has a placement cell. The placement cell of our college makes sure that each and every student gets placed in a reputed company. Moreover, most of the students can have multiple offers. In fact, the placement cell makes sure that students can choose between many companies. It also provides career guidance sessions which make the students ready for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The college offers hostel facilities. There are 3 hostels in total, there are two hostels for girls Gayatari and Gangotari namely and there is one hostel for boys. All the 3 hostels are beautifully designed and maintained by the staff members and the wardens. The hostel food is good and overall the hostel seems like a home far away from home.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Oriental Institute of Science and Technology comes with a great infrastructure with natural beauty with a beautiful temple of Goddess Saraswati. There is a library as well as a digital library here. The college has a total of four campuses surrounded by a beautiful environment.
 

Campus Rating
The college provides an entertainment factor to students, because it believes in the overall growth of the students. The college also organises many tech fests where many celebrities come to perform. It also has many clubs which encourage students to participate and show interests towards culture and art. There is a sports club as well; in fact our college wins various state and national medals.

    The campus of college is not such big but it is of average size. The experience in the Institute till now is just ok. We have to hustle for 75% attendance in the college and write many assignments on daily basis.     Overall this institute is not for someone who has an expectation of all fun and enjoyment in college, you can get good academics and opportunities, but they are really strict with their curriculum and management. This institute is well reputed in our city that is Bhopal and is also well recognised among some major companies.   • Placement Opportunities at OIST Bhopal

    Engineering to me was purely because of my elder brother who finished his engineering and made me feel that this is the only course which has some scopes. I had some doubts and concerns but thanks to Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal as all those vanished in just a month. If one thinks engineering is boring then I would recommend them our institute as we have more fun than studies. So well balanced academics here that one has liberty to do all that he/she wants....     Yes, OIST Bhopal is not a tier-1 institute but it is still a institute that can be considered as a rebound if one has failed to get a tier-1 institute.
