Gargi College Review

Overall Rating
I chose Gargi because it is a girl’s college and also it is among the top 10 Delhi University Colleges of the South Campus. When I had Gargi as an option, I didn't think twice and directly went for it as it is a dream college for many. I would recommend this college for everybody because I had a great experience and it gives a fresh start for your career.
 

Academics Rating
I chose BA Honors in Hindi Literature because I had an interest in literature. Delhi University releases 4 – 5 cutoff lists to give admission to its students. My admission was done on merit basis but after 2021 the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) has started and now students need to score well in CUET exam to get admission into Gargi College or any other college of Delhi University.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of Gargi College is highly qualified as all teachers are PhD graduates. They have expertise in their courses and have deep knowledge of it so they guide you in the right direction if you want to pursue their subject further. I am a little bit disappointed with their style of teaching because they only teach from textbooks and not from other sources. So I guess teaching aptitude could have been better.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell of Gargi College is quite active but my personal experience was different. As I was literature student so I didn't get placed and not just me, any of the students of my class didn't get placement.
 

Hostel Rating
No, there are no residential facilities in Gargi College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has a big library which has a good collection of academic books, previous year papers, and many other resources. It also has a little shop of books which makes it easy for students to buy books directly from college and the price is also quite affordable. Buildings and corridors of the college are beautiful plus it has an amazing ground and other amenities are also available.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is awesome in this college. There are many clubs and societies which helps the students to show their talent and also give them a base to start their career in their interest other than academic profession. The fests conducted at the college are quite famous in the entire city. Many other engagement activities like workshops are also conducted each month.

    Being a part of Gargi College felt surreal and overwhelming as it is a prestigious part of the South Campus of University of Delhi. It offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
