I took admission in B.E. CSE (Lateral Entry). I find the curriculum to be quite easy. University is very strict in terms of Attendance. They focus very much on theory rather than practical. If you are eager to participate in a lot of competition and curricular activities CU is the place for you. There is an event hosting every day and lots of celebrities are also invited to keep the students engaged. Overall, it is a nice place but there is a lot of competition for placement, there are more than 4000 students in BE CSE only.

To get admission in B.E. CSE (Lateral Entry) you need to only get a minimum of 50% marks in your diploma. It's same for General CSE. You will get a lot of exposure to the outside world as you can meet a lot of international students. A lot of Hackathon is being organized every week most of them are paid but are quite good such as SIH (Smart India Hackathon) which is organized by Government of India.

Faculty of CSE is quite good, they will help you in every way possible but if you face any problems with your account or your admissions you have to follow a hierarchy and you will get very irritated. Most of the teachers are very good at teaching but some are not so good. If you are facing any issue in understanding the teacher you can visit your academic coordinator, they will help you with it.

University's Infrastructure is quite impressive. It is a very big university and have a lot of buildings, nearly all of them are very well maintained but academics blocks do not have AC. in them but now they are installing a centralised cooling system in my block which is B1, it is one of the oldest blocks in the university. Toilets are well maintained and are on every floor of the building as well as there is drinking water on all the floors.

There is lot of crowd in the university especially in CSE Branch. There are a huge amount student studying in the university. You'll get to know more about the crowd at the time of some fests. A lot of fests are organized throughout the year, and they are very good. You can also join various cultural clubs. Overall, campus life in the university is very happening you will never get bored.
