Everything is good as much as I experienced. It has a permanent campus which many new IIITs lag in also placements are decent not good not bad. Faculty is also good most are PhD holders only some exceptions are there. Hostel facility is also good here. Overall if we see it's a good option for the one who has decent JEE rank (25k-30k).

There are three branches here Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication. All three branches cutoff are decided by JOSAA and JEE MAINS rank is used in it. Syllabus is latest which is followed here just some disappointments like an Information Technology or Computer science or Electronic and Communication have to study the subjects like Biotechnology in 1st year which is not related to their field, In Computer Science and Engineering branch there is no focus on any language like C, Java, Python etc. in 1st semester which is not a good thing. Here if we see Information Technology branch is good option over computer science and engineering if you don't have any interest in hardware part. Here 75% attendance criteria are very strict someone with 74.9% is also not given any chance he has to repeat the semester. One thing is here that no one is failed here he is given chance in result one thing that is written there is incomplete he will be given chance to complete it after end semester exams. Overall, it is decent in terms of academic.

Faculty is good here most of them are PhD holders only some teachers are there who you will feel that what is he teaching otherwise mostly you find them good. Every teacher has their different style of teaching here some teachers are very friendly, and some are strict but both teachers good if we focus on teaching purpose. Student faculty ratio here is 17:1. The teachers here are some of NIT HAMIRPUR and some from other well recognised colleges.

Placements here are decent not good not bad the average package here is 16.5 LPA. The college has its own placement cell it helps students very much as many companies visit like Amazon, QUALCOMM, American Express, etc. Students here go for both on campus and off campus last year a student from electronic and communications grabbed a package of 60 LPA from Google off campus and on campus highest is 46.5 LPA by Amazon. So, in terms of placement, it is decent.

Hostel facility here is good there are three hostels here JATHRAGNI for 1st year boys and Bhutagni, Chitagni are for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students also 1st year girls are given bhutagni hostel. Hostel rooms are well maintained there are 3 sharing rooms for all years in each room there is a bed, study table, chair, almirah and 3 sockets for each person staying in room; a balcony is also there which is shared by 2 consecutive rooms. Mess food is better than many colleges as we hear about mess food it is not like that. Overall good hostel facility is provided in college.

There is academic block, admin block in front of the main gate, JATHRAGNI hostel on the right side of admin block, CHITAGNI and BHUTAGNI hostel are there on lest side of admin block, a stationary is also there near academic block, a cricket ground, a football ground a canteen is also there outside the main gate and also a guest house which has music room and gym facility. Everything is well structured and good infrastructure is there.

Campus Life is good here there are approx. 650 students combining all four years. There are ma y clubs like force (coding club), Eunoia (literature club), PIXCEL (photography club) etc. Fests are there both technical, sports and cultural the technical fest name is Meraki and cultural fest name is mridang and the sports fest is Yalgar many events take place during fests it's really best time for chilling and fun with friends. Just there is one thing that disappoints is the fests are not done on large scale by college like others. Overall college life is good.
