Opportunities at NIT, Calicut

Overall Rating
I chose NIT Calicut CSE due to its highest placement rate and large alumina network, best faculty in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. It has its best technical and cultural event ragam and tathva it gives the opportunity to the student to improve its soft skills in the field, but one drawback is their first-year hostel due to bad condition and not proper infrastructure but more important is the education quality of this institution hence it is very top-quality college.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued this college in Computer Science Department so, this course is best for all other departments in nit Calicut. Entry requirements are to get about 5.5k in JEE mains in general category about CSE department while eligibility is to clear JEE mains. Motive is the excellent package with an average package of more than 21 LPA.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are of friendly nature with lots of interaction with class they have the motive to take complex thing very simple. They share their experience about the journey of their profession and helps not to do these mistakes, which our senior have done to avoid circumstances that they have faced in their journey, all the faculty are PhD graduate in their own field.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are very good in NIT Calicut, as it has 100 percent in previous 3 years in department of CSE department while other branches also have nice placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel of first year is not very good in their infrastructure and conditions as it has Made in 1961. But the new mega hostel is very fascinating it has facilities of lift with 7 floors, but in future all will get new hostel, NIT Calicut has good health facilities such as 24x7 ambulance service with highly qualified doctor.
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Calicut also has good infrastructure in their respective departments, they have highly advanced lab, which gives good experience in studying, and it has many resources which help for researchers to do research in their respective field. NIT Calicut has top 2 architecture department in India after IIT Roorkee.
 

Campus Rating
NIT Calicut has also been excellent in their fest it includes two fest tathva and ragam. Tathva is technical fest while ragam is a cultural fest this includes a about 30000 attendances to attend this fest, while it includes celebrity to perform in the fest overall it's an excellent experience to be the part of NIT Calicut.

    I recently completed my first year in NIT Calicut and I can say that my first year was perfect. You can get admission in NIT Calicut through JOSAA counselling if you have good rank in all India JEE examination. First year was full of enjoyment as academically there is not so much pressure.     After one year of hard work in entrance coaching, I got into NIT Calicut. Since I have entered here, I think my life is somewhat busy.     I joined NIT Calicut after securing my admission through JOSAA after scoring good marks in examination. I chose this institute since it is near to my home. The campus is so beautiful and every now and then, there is a program in the institute, which I think, does not happen in most institutes.     I chose Electronic and Communication Engineering. I chose this branch as it is in 5th in rank among all the other NITs. The campus life in is so good. Even though we have so much work, life here is very good and calm. You will never regret choosing this one.
