In my opinion, Overall college is excellent. Academics, campus life, Faculties, ragging free campus, seniors, placements, night life all are excellent. Authority is also very supporting. Whereas in my view campus need regular maintenance, connectivity is not good as not any airport is available at Jamshedpur and nearest railway station is Adityapur station.

To take admission in NIT Jamshedpur in B.Tech courses, you have to first clear JEE Mains with good percentile as per your cutoff. After that you have to secure 75% of marks in 12th boards. Now, many other courses are available in institute like M.Tech, M.CA and others. In B.Tech, total 8 branches are available. The average package is INR 15.98 PA as per 2023 data.

All the faculties of NIT Jamshedpur are very highly qualified. Maximum of them is Ph.D holders from foreign universities. The relationship between students and faculty are very good. The teaching style of faculties are fantastic, they teach students from their level of knowledge. They also help students in field of research and innovation. In every field there are some exceptions, so maybe you can't tune up with one or two.

Yes, NIT Jamshedpur has their own Placement Cell. As per the data of 2023, the highest package is INR 83 LPA and Average is INR 15.9 LPA. Total more than 250 top Recruiters and more than 90 New Recruiters and they offered more 700 Job offers. CSE and ECE Secured 100% placements. Some of top recruiters are: - Adobe, Genpact, Tata Motors, KPMG, Paytm, Microsoft, Optum, DE Shaw & Co., Samsung and many others.

Yes, residential facilities are available. Total 13 hostels are available 7 for boys (Hostel: - E, F, G, H I, J, K) and 6 for girls (Hostel: - A, B, C, D, RLB, AHR). The girls' and boys' hostel is far apart. Both of them are on two corners of campus. Now, in hostel the rooms are quite good and average. In first year, you got Two people one Room facilities but after that you got single room (not applicable for girls). Mess provides good quality of food. They provide 3 meals in a Day and one snack at evening. Hostel consists of Wi-Fi, common Room, terrace and many more.

The infrastructure of an NIT Jamshedpur is still developing. Currently they have new academic building, which is Diamond jubilee lecture hall complex, old academic building, laboratories, central library; many courts are available for sports. Diamond jubilee lecture hall complex have 36 smart classrooms large touch screen LED display panels with new hi- tech computer software. Classroom has capacity up to 120 students and all are well equipped by centralized AC. In laboratories you can do experiment, research, innovation on new technologies.

College life at NIT Jamshedpur is fantastic. Weekly and monthly many programs are organised including technical, cultural and sports. There are many clubs, and you can be part of it as per your talent. Some of clubs are team_Rooh, Beatbrakers, Literary and debating society etc. Mainly, 3 fests are organised over the year. Urja is the annual sports fest which held in the month of November. Ojas is the annual techno management fest held in the month of April. Cultfest - it is the annual cultural fest end of April month. All this include a lot of fun, exposure, knowledge and management skills.
